Food was good. Staff were GREAT! The ambiance is very nice for a night out with family, friends or your significant other. We've never met a more accommodating staff!

What Geronimo provided us, was not only wonderful dishes, but an amazing dining experience. It actually started with the Valet, with his warm, friendly greeting. Then it continued with the hostess, along with a few of the staff, welcoming us into the restaurant. We were with our granddaughter, so she sat us up front, at a nice cozy table. From... More

I used to love Geronimo. It was my go to place in SF and I would find an excuse to get there on every trip. Alas they seem to have stopped investing and innovating and are instead cashing in on what they were a decade ago. Here is where it's fallen relative to the better dining scene: 1. On a... More

We have dined at some of the finest restaurants in the country and Geronimo rates up there with all of the them; at a fraction of the cost. The evening was inspiring; great ingredients, wonderfully prepared and beautifully served. A very simple formula, not often executed to perfection. Geronimo did just that, they executed to perfection. Service is often a... More

Geronimo has been through ups and downs. It is definitely in an up right now. Service and food impeccable! True, it's not cheap, but totally worth it for a special dinner. And for not-so-special dinner, the bar menu is impressive and the bar friendly. I rate it #1 in Santa Fe (and likely New Mexico) right now. Go.

My husband and I were visiting Santa Fe and wanted a nice restaurant to celebrate a birthday. Geronimo was perfect. Very nice ambiance, good service and the food was excellent. Perfect for a romantic or celebration dinner. Highly recommend.

Geronimo is a great place to eat for "special" occasions, like entertaining guests, birthdays, anniversaries, clients. Situated on Canyon Road, they offer a quiet and toned-down dining room. The food, no matter what one orders, is always fresh, fabulous, and beautifully presented. The quality is always consistent. My husband always orders the elk tenderloin and I get the chili lime... Always my favorite in Santa Fe. The last trip there was the beginnings of a new menu. While the old one was wonderful, the new dishes show great promise.

From the ambience, service and cuisine, Geronimo is unmatched in Santa Fe. And they deliver consistently. We enjoyed a couples dinner at the small bar. The bartender was classy but not snobby. He recommended wines and respected our privacy. It was one of many delightful visits- that is coming from a local.

The setting is beautiful and definitely, fine dining but it didn't feel stuffy. The adobe walls are a soothing and soft white and you feel that you are in a very old and authentic home which I think it was at one time. The small dining rooms make it feel very cozy but never crowded. Our server seemed to mirror... More
