If it isn't too busy, metered street parking is available. Otherwise finding parking can be kind of a nuisance around the area. The meters for parking are a bit pricey. Three quarters only gave us just over 20 minutes. The book shop is easy to find. Employees were all super friendly and helpful. The gals in the coffee shop were... More

I love this independent bookstore and coffee shop. They carry an interesting collection of books, are very helpful, and located in downtown Santa Fe. Saturdays midday there is live jazz. Sundays there is often a speaker. Often there are events with authors and entertainers. Go. Go often. And buy a book, too!

I stumbled on this bookshop in 2013 and am currently planning a return visit to Santa Fe later this year. I am DELIGHTED to find they still have their evening events with authors talks. A must for any Santa Fe visitor!!!

I attend a writing group every Monday. The staff is most gracious, and the lattes are the best in town Located in downtown Santa Fe, it's so wonderful to have Dorothy's support of the writing community. Iconik Coffee is included in the book store, and there are great sweets as well as different types of coffees & teas.

We really enjoyed stopping by this bookstore; they had a great local history and Southwestern history section, as well as bestsellers. I definitely found some books that I would not normally find at an average Barnes and Noble. They also happened to be having a speaker while we were there, so it was cool to listen for a little while... More

The coffee is good and the bookstore is classic, but the ambience is ruined by loud abrasive music. If you have music in a bookstore, it should be gentle and low key.

I came across this bookstore/coffeehouse when looking for some coffee, and ended up staying for over an hour. It's cozy, with plenty of couches and chairs, and has a good coffee and food menu. Their book selection is also decently sized. I love the bookstore/coffeehouse combination, so I was very happy to spend some time here.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast--loved the selection of books by local authors and on local topics. Great atmosphere, delicious coffee.

The best of what a small local bookstore should be sharing space with a high end coffee house. Baked goods from the premises. Poetry readings on weekends

Whether you want just to browse the bookshelves, have one of the excellent coffees, take breakfast, work on a presentation or a university project, have a chat with friends, write postcards, listen to relaxin music or experience authors, artists, poets, playwrights, novelists, filmmakers, composers, or journalists live (in my case it was local Grand Dame Julia Cameron who is all...
