Whole Hog is near the Railyard District. It is a simple restaurant with self-service ordering. They just have great BBQ. We both ordered pulled pork with sides of jalapenos and pickles. One sandwich was a wrap and the other on a great bun. A couple...More

This trip I ordered the 1/2 chicken combo with potato salad and baked beans. I would order something different next time. The chicken was tender and moist, but i did not care for the soft skin, and didn't like the potato salad, which was heavy...More

We just ate at the Whole Hog, with some friends from LA. Lower Alabama, that is. We walked there from the Plaza. It was a hike. The concusses was that it was well worth the walk. Trust me, if there's one thing southerners know, it's...More

The pulled pork was wonderful. My husband and I liked the variety of sauces. His brisket was lean but a bit dry. Pickles would be a good add - I missed them. Great place to bring a family.

The menu is really limited and the food is not that good. The mac and cheese was not good at all and the beef was tasteless. The meat is not smoked, just something like slow roasted maybe.

BBQ here is good but I love the volcano sauce. I come here every time I'm in town . The ribs are good but my favorite is pulled pork with plenty of the volcano sauce. They keep the V sauce behind the counter and you...More

We had heard that the food was good, so we tried it. The menu was limited to barbecue, which was good, but filling. The service was good. I would not recommend it for children.

We had friends over this weekend, decided to get take out at Whole Hog Café. We all agree this is the best BBQ in Santa Fe. We have tried everything on the menu. The brisket is our favorite, lean, sliced, and I ask for a...More

I had the beef brisket - it was dry, tough, stringy and totally without flavor. Do yourself a favor and drive to Austin, Texas, for the barbecue at Aaron Franklin's place, or over to Lockhart, Texas, to Kreuz Market. Both places use prime quality beef....More

We eat here at least once or twice a month. Everything is delicious. They have the best brisket in town, it's sliced not chopped. Quick and friendly service.

No they don't. They do provide take out and it is very quick, don't even bother calling it in, that's how fast it is.
