Stopped at the food truck on our way to Colorado and what a great meal! My husband ordered the brisket sandwich on pita bread with spinach, sauce, red onion and cherry tomatoes and a side of fries. Omg, the brisket was so extremely tender and beautifully seasoned with Moroccan spices. My meal was the jerk chicken platter, beans and rice... More

Saw on Diners, Drive-in and Dives and had to try when we were in Santa Fe. Best food we've had here. Operating out of a food truck temporarily, but food was best. Will go back before we leave town.

What a fabulous find for us! Do not pass through Santa Fe without a meal from this restaurant. The flavours are fantastic!!! They are currently functioning in their food truck in the parking lot in front of the restaurant due to an unfortunate accident involving their building. I ordered the coconut chicken and my hubby ordered the lamb stew. Both... More

I had worked for a S. African restaurant on Cape Cod. This was as good. Many similarities, many differences. The lamb sandwich was very good. The Coconut Curry Chicken Stew was one of those bowl of food you could have eaten on for days. The waiters were very Santa Fe, attentive and friendly. The fries with the lamb were great.... More

There was an unfortunate accident a couple weeks ago which shut down the cafe, but they are still operating out of their food truck in the parking lot. The food was delicious (we split the pistachio-crusted goat cheese salad and the grilled jerk sandwich). Definitely a must-visit in Santa Fe.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The menu is unusual and full of great flavors. The staff from the kitchen to the waitstaff are friendly and give the impression of really taking pride in what they do. The lamb stew is wonderful. Try the fried goat cheese salad. They really know their way around soups, and the cumin fries... More

Jambo is warm, friendly, inviting, crowded and has excellent food. My husband swears they make the best Jerk Chicken he has ever had. I adore their chicken peanut stew and the coconut flavored jasmine rice that comes with it. Along with all that, their prices are very reasonable! Can get a little crowded at both lunch and dinner so be... More

A wonderful restaurant in the center of Santa Fe- not the tourist part- This restaurant is in a shopping area- with plenty of parking, and not far from the #2 bus. The food is good,(African/Caribbean style cooking) the staff is fun and professional. It is a great place to meet friends or eat alone! There is a small bar perfect... More

This wonderful restaurant (and its occupants) suffered some bad luck in early March when a driver plowed into the dining area. The restaurant is still serving though through the use of its food truck! Same excellent food, same location (just in the parking lot), same tenacity! Please support them ...

I have wanted to try Jambo Cafe for a while, so finally did! A friend and I visited for a late lunch and were pleased with the service and the food. I had the coconut chicken curry with rice, and my friend had the lunch special that included an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Her starter/appetizer was a great looking salad,... More
