With the Zia Diner gone, Jambo Café is now indisputably our favorite Santa Fe eatery. Santa Fe is really not a place for diversity of ethic food. Although weighted toward meaty dishes with lamb, goat and chicken, there are also a lot of great vegetarian...More

This place is not great from the outside. It is located in a strip mall, but when you enter you are transported into multiple culinary worlds at once. The food is delicious, and everyone is friendly. There is even a store of imported goods from...More

I would have never found this place if it wasn't for Trip Advisor, it's hidden in a small shopping center. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was quick and courteous. The salmon on the salmon salad was cooked to perfection- I never thought...More

This restaurant is an oasis in an otherwise characterless strip mall. Upon entering, I was struck by a plethora of inviting aromas. The ambiance was warm, informal, comfortable, and had a low noise level. An outstanding first course of fried cornmeal plantain crab cakes were...More

Twice within a week, this place was inconsistent, as to service. I had a very good Coconut/peanut flavored chicken stew and rice. Excellent! Next visit, I tried something different, Moroccan chicken kabob. It was good, though not as good as the other plate. The C+...More

I enjoyed a business lunch here. The restaurant was busy, but we didn't experience much of a wait to be seated. We enjoyed the jerk chicken sandwiches, and found the service to be good, and the prices reasonable. We'll be back for sure.

We had lunch here and I was delightfully surprised. The atmosphere took me out of a shopping mall and into what I imagine Africa could be like. The food, service, ambiance were all stellar. It was busy, but our waiter was attentive without being obnoxious,...More

One of the best meals we experienced on our cross-country trip! Unassuming from the outside— small space in a strip mall— but on the inside you find great decor and wonderful food!! It is African and the food is not only amazing but very reasonably...More

Santa Fe has a great mix of foods. I had high expectations of this place because of previous reviews. I went at lunch time, our service was very slow. I ordered goat soup which was okay. The meat in the soup was fatty, which goat...More

You don't need reservations...but don't plan to arrive at 12 noon! Earlier or later is best.

The dishes were not heavily seasoned, but all of ours contained sodium. There are links on their website for their menu and to ask jambocafe directly.
