This is a very popular restaurant with the locals who were easy to engage and share their Santa Fe insights with strangers. Such was our experience as we enjoyed a simple meal of freshly prepared beef tacos and cheese enchiladas. We walked in and experienced...More

A total surprise! You have to look for this eatery but it's worth the trip. Get there early as there was a 20 minute wait when I found it at 11:30 am. The food was wonderful and the service was great. They offer a very...More

Several friends from home had recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Laid back atmosphere with very good food. We had enchiladas with the red sauce and a burger. As other reviews have mentioned, the sauce is a little spicy, but not bad. It...More

This institution in downtown Santa Fe has very unusual seating arrangements. Various rooms have been added over the years. Kind of fun, if you avoid the low doorways. There is almost always a 20-30 minute wait. The menu is not huge but has all the...More

Being an extremely popular restaurant can be a scary thing but this restaurant does it right. Food is delish and service is wonderful. Love the location/ off the beaten path near St Francis Church. Prices are reasonable,. Our second visit!

The food is delicious, however locals in New Mexico do not describe spice accurately....I think all of their taste buds have been burnt off. Both the Red and green sauces are delicious but the red sauce is extremely spicy. Highly recommend the food here and...More

As far as I know they do not take reservations. It's always busy and you can plan on a wait. There are lots of shops near by to kill some time. They give you a little buzzer to let you know when your table is ready.

Ask if the green or red chile is hotter. Or ask for them to put the chile on the side.

No opentable link and no reservation link on website. So I assumed no reservations, but the 30 minute wait on a busy Friday night was fine...enjoyed people watching
