I've been visiting there for years, my staple every evening after work on SJI before heading back to Orcas was the simple Fish Taco. Fresh, clean, nice pico de gallo and a few shakes of malt vinegar, keep the cheese please. If you want fries they are fresh cut and fried up so they are hot and delicious! Years ago... More

Service was very good, food was what you would expect for diner food. Very close to the ferry and great to run and eat while you wait.

Its always great to find where the locals eat. They eat here. I eat here every time I pass through on my sailboat. Great basic breakfasts and daily specials too. Prices are very good/affordable for excellent quality. Very friendly staff. Next time I will try the fish and chips!

Went here for lunch and had to try the "world famous fish and chips." The service was marginal. Waited approximately 15 minutes before the waitress arrived after being seated (should have sat at the bar), and then another 30 minutes between order and being served. It was busy...but seems like a long time to wait for fish and chips. Speaking... More

Acceptable, but very ordinary. I had a hamburger with salad, hubby a French dip sandwich. The food smelled "cheap" while cooking!

Stopped in while waiting for the ferry, this restaurant is really close by. Good coffee, hubby and I split an omelet. Plenty of food. Good service, very friendly atmosphere. Looks like a 1950's diner. Locals having coffee, the place got pretty busy.. Casual place, don't expect 5 star breakfast. Hearty, warm and good.

While waiting for the ferry we decided to stop in to the Hungry Clam since it was right across the street from the ferry parking. It's a small place so there might be a short wait to be seated. The servers were always smiling and there when you needed them. I had the basic breakfast. The eggs were perfect, homemade... More

I had shrimp, Husband had Fish&Chips and our friend had Club sandwich-all were great. The waitress was fast and friendly. The restaurant was up a hill a bit from Ferry not ideal with mobility issues. Prices were standard we paid around 10-13$ per meal for lunch. Good food:)

Ate there last week and will not return. Greasy food and even the menus feel greasy. There supposed to be a great breakfast place, but they are definitely not walking theri talk. It should be called the GREASY CLAM.

Thank Bojorquez
