My wife and I went here to round out our wedding weekend (Lakedale Resort, just down the street). Long story short we arrived a little late and were sat fairly quickly the service was great they understood our delay and let us stay late into the evening without any annoying "put out" attitude. Dinner was absolutely perfect. We are actually... More

I loved this place. We went there with the whole family. We sat outside, although it was a bit cool, they had outdoor heaters that kept the area really cozy. Everyone was completely satisfied from start to finish. They had wonderful appetizers, main dishes, cocktails, and desserts. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who goes to San Juan... This delightful small, maybe 15 tables, cottage, lost in the woods is a true wonder. Where else are you advised when seated at a booth, "there is a foot rest there if you need it", and then started on a great dining experience. Unique pairings of local, fresh food, well presented and delicious. Beautiful scallops paired with jimica/grapefruit salad..it works. And we... More

We went there on our first night on the island, around 7:45 p.m., having called ahead at around 4:00 from the ferry. It was the penultimate weekend before they closed for the winter, and the restaurant was pretty packed when we got there (after a slightly tense ride along an unfamiliar, winding, and unlit road about 5 miles out of... So glad that trip advisor led me to this fantastic place. The food was scrumptious and beautifully plated. Creative flavor combinations and fresh, local ingredients. Cozy atmosphere with a bit of funk mixed with elegance. Highly recommended. Would have had dinner here two nights in a row if we hadn't eaten here on our last night in town. I Recommend... More

Sit outside on Persian rugs thrown over timber benches and sip on a great glass of wine munching on local, organic and fresh appetizers. Make reservations well in advance and be prepared for a leisurely well crafted meal with local food. Great service, ambiance -- we didn't want to leave. Perfect for a special meal with friends or your sweetheart.... More

We had heard the restaurant was good and we were not disappointed. We sat outside near the fire pit and were very comfortable on a chilly October evening with the propane warmers nearby. The restaurant does require a car or a cab, as other reviewers have stated, as it is between Friday and Roche Harbors. The appetizers we tried were... More

This is one of the best restaurants, if not the best, on the island so make reservations if you plan to go, especially since they are only open for dinner Thursday through Sunday. The interior was comfortable, casual, and reminded me of an upscale hunting lodge. Service was friendly and the food was fresh and well prepared. The apple pie... More

We enjoyed our last meal at this lovely restaurant. If you don't have a transportation, you can call Dana from Classic Cabs to pick you up in his 1950 Mercury. Salad and soup come with your meal. The salad was amazing with pickled golden beets and arugula. Main courses are steak, duck breast, prawns..it was so hard to choose. There... More

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Like several other couples around us, we quickly made reservations for a second night partway through our first experience there.
