I love the fish caldo and fried fish. The caldo has lots of flavor and is packed with seafish. It includes rice and a scumpcious tostada that complements the caldo and rice!

Bland food, there are so many better places for seafood. Staff members were great, very friendly and helpful

Absolutely the worst seafood I have ever eaten. Food was not delivered together and wrong platter came out late. The seafood was tasteless and bland and the cocktail sauce was a joke. We won't be back.

J Anthony's has a few locations in town. If you blink you will pass this one. Food is great and it is popular especially during lent. It is reasonably priced for seafood the whole family can eat here.

Wow this place has a nerve !!! I went on their apparently many websites and wanted to order a family meal which was @6 dollars cheaper from what the lady at this place had said , so I asked her if she would honor the price on THIER website site and she said NO, cause the prices were from a... I must say this is a whole in the wall place. If you love fish, it is good but the ambiance isn't. This isn't a place I would go around the world to visit. Just sayin...however, the people were very nice and friendly. I would of rated it better if the place itself was remodeled some. The artwork on the... More

The place is clean and delicious. Unfortunately, I was unable to try the fish due to dietary issues at the time. I ended up getting all their vegetable side dishes. I must say they were very tasty and good portions. Also, I did get to taste the fish caldo my cousin purchased. It was spicy good. I plan on going... More

We had a large group at this restaurant, and the family fish platter was ordered for everyone. The service was reasonably fast, the food was excellent, and prices are reasonable.

After two week sin San Antonio eating bland and lumpen food, what joy to be taken to J Anthony's. A small unpretentious restaurant, with friendly staff (none of the fawning sycophantic nonsense so common in American restaurants) and homely and convivial atmosphere. The food , the foood .....SUPERB! Fresh ingredients, simply prepared, with subtle and delicious combinations of flavours. Definitely... More
