Haven't been in a while and thought about trying it out. Still looks great and servers friendly. Food was mediocre though. Gorditas were not flavorful and enchiladas bland. Best to try La Marg next time.

There are a myriad of places to go in San Antonio to eat authentic Tex-Mex food, but Mi Tierra is the grandmother of them all and is the best in town. They are open 24 hours a day and you can eat breakfast all day. It is a must-stop when you are in San Antonio!

Authentic Mexican food in the heart of downtown. Don't valet there, it is a pain and most of the time it is at capacity. Park across the street and walk thru market square for some awesome shopping. Order been and cheese nachos for appetizer with your favorite Mexican draft beer (yes, they have them on tap). Can't go wrong with... More

The food is good here. Pretty standard Mexican American fare. I sat at the bar, the bartender was attentive and made good drinks. The view was lovely on the Riverwalk. Easy to get to from the Marriot River Center.

This was an awesome experience! Located in Market Square and open 24 hours a day, Mi Tierra was wonderful. We were greeted by a very courteous staff upon arrival. The service was excellent and attentive. We tried several dishes and I can say nothing but good things about everything that I tried. There are plenty of dishes on the menu... More

My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Mi Tierra after our courthouse ceremony. We had an incredibly sweet waitress who brought us a dessert decorated with congratulations around a piece of cake. Even though there typically is a long wait, it is worth it for the experience. The lights and decorations and interior decor make the restaurant both a... More

This Resturant is not as I was expecting. The food was just average. I think the hype is the location. The service was very slo and we finally flagged down a waitress that waited on us, but it "wasn't her table" any way, I probably won't go back.

Good service & a good mexican breakfast! We have been coming here for years on our travels thru San Antonio. It is always good and lucky for us not to crowded on Jan. 2nd! Service was good too! Love to stop at the bakery counter on our way out...lots of yummy cookies!

Located in the Market downtown, Mi Tierra offers a fun, festive atmosphere 24 hours a day. Food is good, prices reasonable. Festive decorations filled this Mexican hacienda style restaurant. Definitely stop at the bakery to take some traditional Mexican sweets home

Now, I realize that many people feel they are experts at Mexican food. I cannot say that I am because I measure a Mexican restaurant by four things.... their chips and salsa and their chicken enchiladas and rice. I don't eat beans, so that is off my list of things to try. All that said, I remember eating at Mi... More
