We used to have these restaurants in our city so I was very excited to see this one. It was yummy. Our server was so nice and we had a great meal.

First of all, we had great service. The sides are great but the BBQ itself is meh. If you are a BBQ place in San Antonio, you better have some darn good BBQ....this place, not so much. Kind of a tourist trap in all honesty.

Most great BBQ here is on the outskirts. But if you don't have a car or don't have the time, this is a great spot where you can even sit outside on the river. The BBQ is fabulous. I can recommend everything. I've had the...More

We loved the smell every time we walk past it, and we wanted some Texas barbecue while in Texas, so we tried it for lunch. Most of us got the brisket plater with two sides and a beer or margarita, we mostly split the meals...More

Stopped by without any knowledge of the place beforehand. It was a great place to have dinner. Our kids enjoyed the kids menu (ribs and turkey). We enjoyed a table that was half inside and half outside which was the best of both worlds. We...More

The food was good not great. I had the brisket, sausage and pork rib plate with a side of coleslaw. The sausage was delicious. I've had better brisket. Ribs were tender but they smothered all the meats with their bbq sauce and it was a...More

If bbq is your choice- and there are tons of food choices, look no further. We ate outside on the riverwalk until a squirrel chased us indoors. Our waiter was fabulous, moving us, greeting us, explaining everything and correcting our ordering errors. Great!

I wasn't too hungry, so just ordered a side (baked potato). When I got the bill, was shocked to see they charged $7.49! My husband had the ribs, which were not that great. The beans were really good.

This place was recommended to us, and it was a let down. For a BBQ place in Texas, it wasn't that great. The amount of food you get was pretty good for the price, but the actual food was disappointing. I had the half rack...More

I would suggest you call the restaurant. You might be able to get a couple groups of six outside but I'm not sure a really large group. And it might be cool and February. Even with the heat lamps.
