An intimate space, and a beautiful patio (unfortunately too cold for us to sit outside). We enjoyed our mixed drinks, guacamole, calamari, lamb burger and crab cakes. They have an extensive wine menu that we would dip into next time if we return. This is...More

Asian fusion feel to this lovely restaurant. Food prepared with care and flair. For lunch,,loved the butternut squash soup ( no-cream recipe) as well as the perfectly prepared salmon. Fine wine and craft beers served. Definitely worth your while.

A very good option in downtown San Antonio. The options for food are diverse and delicious. They have a cool selection of wine and whiskey too. My one complaint was that service was quite slow. But the staff is friendly and I think this is...More

Restaurants that focus on small plates to share are our favorite and this one did not disappoint. The crab cakes were some of the best we have ever had. The shrimp dish as well was so good that the rice was just as good as...More

We recently visited Zinc, a bar and bistro, where we had some beer and a light lunch. My wife had a salad and I had the grilled shrimp and vegetables. The restaurant gleaned its name from its bar, which is covered by zinc. We had...More

Wonderful dinner with friends. Nice cozy restaurant with delicious food and great service. The shrimp skewers over basmati rice was really good. The calamari and the dipping sauce that it came with was delicious!

As I recall, happy hour is from 3 to 7 p.m. on weekdays, 1/2 price house specialty cocktails and most shared plates; house red and white is good and around $5 each. I don't recall about beers. I would call and ask for... More

Description
Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts.
Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.
