With a group of 6 on Girl's Trip, and wanted to eat at nice restaurant. We were just on the RiverWalk looking for something, and found the Fig Tree. The very nice greeter asked if we had a reservation. Sadly, no, we replied, and there...More

We were a party of 7 business associates attending a conference at the Hyatt Regency down Riverwalk. The climb up to the dining room from Riverwalk on bricks and stairs was not easy and not well lit. We were all seated at a comfortable round...More

Ate here alone while in town for a conference. Promptly seated on the outdoor terrace with a view of the Riverwalk, which was lovely. Had the roasted quail for an appetizer which was perfectly cooked, easy to debone, and had a great pate on top....More

Need a break from Tex-Mex on the River Walk?...try The Fig Tree. We ate on the patio, facing the river. The atmosphere was shady and relaxing. The service was outstanding, and both our meals were great--from the salad through dessert. If you have nothing else,...More

Service was excellent but the food was flat. We have always been impressed with the food but my salmon nor my husband's fillet was up to par. Planning another trip here late July but may need to pick anther restaurant .

As the others have said, yes. It is terraced up the hill from the Riverwalk. Strongly suggest reservations as far in advance as possible if you want to sit outside with the best view.
