Ate dinner upstairs..there was live music downstairs. We got a table right away...we ordered the potroast bowl, potroast sandwich and hummus and the featured salad of the day. All were good and they give you a plate of their homemade breads too. Potroast sandwich bread was grilled and a little over toasted but meat inside was good. Varied menu with... More

Sunday brunch was busy but the atmosphere was worth the wait. Everything was delicious but be patient, very busy. They fill your water glasses and coffee quickly though.. Food came out perfectly and the fresh toast, I could have eaten a loaf.

We went here for lunch with a large group and they were well prepared for us. We had a special menu, but it had 8-10 selections and all were unique and sounded enticing. It was hard to make a choice. There was a large variety of options that would appeal to many different tastes, from pot roast sandwich for lentil... More

We arrived mid-afternoon after the lunch crowd left and picked up their specials as takeout. Our server made sure that we had all the accoutrements in addition to the outstanding duck breast salad to take back to Oge Mansion for a picnic. Can't wait for the next time we're in San Antonio to enjoy Liberty Bar -- a former convent... More

Went for brunch. Everything was excellent - the quiche of the day was unique and excellent. Bread pudding was to die for. Bloody Mary's made with home recipe that was unique and really tasty. Service was top notch. The building is an old convent - ask your server for the whole story.

I've been here for both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was delicious, although the home fries seemed as though they had been prepared en masse and had been sitting, waiting to be served. That is my only complaint with breakfast. My dinner was average as well, but the menu was a bit strange to me. It ranged from clearly well-thought-out... More

Beautiful building and great service. The food was disappointing, as the menu sounded really interesting and they had a lot of options. But the meals were a bit flavorless.

We came here on a Saturday for brunch. My husband said the mimosa was fresh and very good. Food was great!

Everything for our late Friday lunch was great from the food and drinks to the service. We started with a signature appetizer, Goat cheese with Piloncillo, and some Texas beers on tap. Couldn't decide on one entree, so we shared the special of the day, Caldo de Mariscos, with the Grilled Muenster Cheese and hand cut fries. Without asking, they... More

Went here for lunch, lovely relaxed feel but my main course of pasta was very average, however the bread pudding with hard whiskey sauce was delicious, I ordered some vanilla ice cream to accompany this which really made the dessert.
