Stopped here for beers and lunch after a long bike ride. Loved everything about the place. Great service and ambiance. Super selection of beers and a great lunch. Will return for sure after each bike ride.

This is my fourth time here, the previous three some four years ago. I like to try local beers. My memory of great beer was refreshed as the beer was first rate. When I went before, the menu was eclectic and inspired, particularly for a brewery. (That's why we went three times.) This time, the menu seemed more traditional bar... More

We ate at the Blue Star Brewing Company after biking the Mission Trail. The restaurant is located right on the trail, but it was not crowded. We all had burgers, which were very good. The ginger ale was delicious! It tasted like it was made from fresh ginger!

I had the German Plate and my husband had the Greek burger. Mine was wonderful, his was good. The service was excellent. We sat outside. People were friendly and it was a nice experience. The free shuttle to the Spurs game was a bonus. Don't miss this place!

We visited late afternoon and were greeted right away. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed a selection of samples at $1.50 each. The beer is cold and fresh. The Sangria is also delicious. We had a late lunch so we did not look at the food menu. It is at the edge of the King William District, behind the... More

We were on the bike path along the river. We smelled the best smells. Since the bike path is on the backside of the restaurant, we didn't see it and if not for the good smells, we could have biked right on past. The place was packed when we went in! Service was great. Price was very reasonable. Our lunch... More

Food and beer were awesome, great selection. The pork pig pie was a unique dish, couldn't even eat all of the half portion. Great flavor and quality of food. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

We walked for several miles on the Mission Trail only to discover that there is absolutely no food available anywhere on the trail (or even right off the trail). So we turned around and we're ready to walk back to the crowded and expensive River Walk area, when we stumbled upon the Blue Star. We stopped for a late lunch.... More

My son-in-law chose this restaurant as he is very artistic and enjoys dining in the Blue Star area and then visiting the shops to see art, sculptures, etc. that are available. The food was good. The family enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the craft beer.

They are also a restaurant, but they do brew their own beer! I had the close encounter sour and it was really good! Classic sour with a nice touch of peach. One of my friends got the raspberry sour and the raspberry in it was perfect. The service was also awesome! It really made the experience here. They were very... More
