We stopped after visiting the Sonora Desert Museum for lunch. The daily specials all looked appetizing. We ordered tacos and the enchilada plate. Both tasted delicious. The restaurant offers a drive through option as well. As we ate lunch, a steady streams of customers passed through, which also demonstrated the restaurant's popularity.

Only 4 or 5 tables, order at counter, menu on overhead sign, waitress brings your food out. The food was excellent, hot, tasty, and plentiful. Not a fine dining restaurant, but a great local place with quite good food.

Love the food at this casual, quick serve Mexican treasure... If you're looking for authentic "Barrio" style comfort food at a budget price- look no further. The staff is friendly, the food is homemade, the prices are reasonable, and you may just have to order in Spanish. They also have liquados- Handmade Fruit drinks. Ole!!!

Our group were looking for a place to have dinner and we happened upon this place. Both from the outside and inside it really isn't much to look at. But don't let that keep you away. First, the service is very friendly and quite patient with clients who are not quite used to ordering Mexican food. The food is very... More

The breakfast burrs are huge and freshly made. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and the large is 32 oz! Unfortunately the breakfast burrs taste was just average.

My wife picked this place to eat and I was hesitant to try it just by the looks of it from the road. We decided to try it anyway and we are so glad that we did! I didn't like the consistency of the Guac but everything else tasted excellent and because I love Horchata and they actually had it,... More

Well, located in the heart of great restaurants of the Westside, they hold their own for whatntheynoffer -- reasonably priced Mexican food. Try a mango/papaya smoothie, mmmm...

I have a mental index for just about any delicious "hole-n-the-wall" Sonoran food joint within Tucson city limits. Believe me when I say you don't have to venture south of the border to find truly authentic, amazingly delicious Mexican food. I've had more than my fair share of Fresita Breakfast burros (because they are pretty much sublime), but I haven't... More

This food is fantastic! We ordered 2 Ranchera bistek, Sonoran dogs, and carnitas tacos. All served on homemade, I mean actually hand made corn tortillas! All the food was grilled to perfection, fresh and favorable! If you want authentic, real Mexican food. You have to try this! The owners are super sweet and service is spectacular! Eat and live well.... More

This is a tiny converted old Dairy Queen that serves a very tasty breakfast. We stopped in after walking Tumamoc and left there very happy we did. My husband ordered a plate while I just had a burrito. Both plates were delicious and just the right size. We will return and bring frineds!
