I love this place, we have been coming here since my son was 1. 22 years ago. We would always stop every morning for a baked good and coffee. His favorite apple juice and peanut butter cookie. It was a way to get him to hurry and get dress before school and work. I love their lunches here, Village bakehouse... More

Small little bakery tucked in to the corner of a strip mall next to Trader Joe's. Has outside seating in a covered patio. The smell as you enter with fresh baked products is enticing. The display has fresh pastries and the menu offers a variety of sandwiches and breakfast items. Other items such as fruit, and ingredients in menu items are... More

Good place to eat after shopping at Trader Joe's. The best sandwiches and a large choice of their breads. Always busy and have to wait to order. Every thing fresh. Love the Olive bread.

I have lived in Tucson for 12 years and have always loved the cakes at Village Bakehouse. Today when I went in to pick up my husband's 70th Birthday cake I was very disappointed to see a customer right next to me with a gun in a holster. I mentioned it to the girl who was waiting on me and... More

My review of 12/17/14 remains valid and true to fact. Since my review in 2014, we have eaten breakfast here multiple times and it never fails to impress whether it be the breakfast itself or the delicious pastries. A hidden gem!! 5.0 star rating 12/17/2014 Previous review We've eaten breakfast here twice in the past week; it's that good!! The... More

In looking for a special occasion cake, I have found the cream of the crop! I came in at a good time and was able to meet with a cake designer. She gave me samples to taste. The first bite of the white cake led me straight to Heaven. The custard was just a step higher. I was very happy... More

Had not been there in a long time. Forgot how expensive everything was. But good. But expensive. If you are ready to pay $15 for a ham and cheese croissant and a (paper)cup if coffee, go there. My food tasted good, service was fine, and the patio is neat. Just a little on the pricey side for my taste, especially... More

This cafe is in a strip shopping center, with a covered patio out front. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Two adults went for lunch on a Wednesday about 1:30. They had customers but it was not overly crowded at that time. The ordering process was a little confusing when we arrived; there are two doors on the... More

They don't play fair! While waiting to order your meal, you have to stand alongside the cases of decadent pastries, cakes and cookies! Long known for their baked goods, the Village Bakehouse has expanded their repertoire over the years, to full breakfasts and lunches. Most of the seating is out on the patio, which now has a hard cover, fans... More
