We loved this restaurant for lunches the first years after it opened but then weren't back in Tucson for over a decade. We're glad to see it's thriving in a larger location with expanded hours. Their bread is wonderful and they make the best large sandwiches - half is good enough for each of us. They warn on the menu... More

We really enjoyed our breakfast at Beyond Bread. The breakfast choices are just right, from eggs to french toast. I recommend the potatoe pancakes over the breakfast potatoes. The bread and pastry choices are incredible and well worth the visit. Prices are right too! Service is efficient and friendly.

We did take-out twice this week while were were visiting Tucson. It seemed too crowded and noisy to eat inside. Phone orders are easy and they were accurate. Prices are a bit high - $24 for 2 whole and 1 half sandwich. The bread choices set this place apart from other sandwich places. The desserts looked yummy, although we did... More

They make the best bread and have free samples at the door. Everything else is good to but they really have good bread.

The food, and the pricing were excellent. However, this place is super popular and seating is not easy to find. Also, because it is so popular - it's not very easy to have conversation - especially if you have more than 3 people in your group.

We picked up a couple of sandwiches to go, for a picnic at Sabino Canyon. We were intrigued with "Bart's Bag", but a little apprehensive about the default bread selection, which warned could be hard to bite into, due to crispy crust. No problem, you can change the bread to anything you want! Fantastic! Turned out to be an incredibly... More

I ordered a sandwich special for the day (Monday) and it was a little disappointing. The baguette was way too big and thick. On the inside was some roasted peppers and field greens, and quite a lot of them, but the flavor of the entire sandwich soley depended on the chipotle cream cheese spread on the inside of the bread.... A great healthy filling treat for lunch with friends, a date, or having family over. Great selection and quality of breads to choose from, and never have to wait too long.

Best sandwich in Tucson. Always busy but the staff does a nice job serving the customers in this very busy location. Their bread is awesome as well as their soup. Never have I not enjoyed this place. They serve good and honest portions.

Loved the menu choices of sandwiches, soups and salads. Pay attention to the tooth symbol on the menu as some breads are very difficult to chew. Salads are enough for three meals, and most sandwiches can be purchased in half servings. Great place to eat quickly, but not typical fast food atmosphere.
