We were have trouble finding a restaurant on a Sunday around 1:00 that served breakfast and didn't have a long wait. You order at the count and they bring out your meal, so there was a few minutes wait to order. If you want a spot in the cute outdoor courtyard, you better send someone in your group to wait for a table while someone else waits to order. They have a sellection of pastries in a case as well as their menu. Mine was good, but I was a little disappointed by the roasted veggies I ordered in my burrito. It seemed to be only tiny pieces of zucchini and yellow squash. I was hoping for something a little more flavorful. My husband really liked his omlet with chorizo. We also got an order of the lemon poppy seed waffles with ricotta and blueberry compote. Absolutely silky and elicious topping on a crispy waffle.

We had a lovely, warm welcome at this delightful cafe with it's south western decor and several different rooms to dine in.
We had the soup of the day - beef stew soup - which was tasty then just had to have cakes. A pastry chef is employed here and it shows. Their selection of cakes and pastries is one of the best we have seen. Very imaginative, lovely to look at and even better to taste. They also do a selection of lemonades; the pineapple was very refreshing.
We hope to return before we leave Tucson.

Our late lunch here was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Tucson. We loved the airy outdoor garden setting (definitely would opt for that over the inside seating), friendly service and delicious salads (husband had the salmon salad and I the chicken Cobb, which was a deconstructed salad including some unusual ingredients including dates!). I also had a wonderfully refreshing nonalcoholic “Citrus Cooler” that I’ll be trying to replicate here at home. While we didn’t sample them, the desserts looked fabulous too.
I highly recommend this spot in downtown Tucson- as well as taking time in the adjoining Art Museum. (and gift shop). There is parking directly across from the museum/cafe.

Sampled the mixed berry buttermilk cake during one of the bridal fairs and instantly fell in love with its divine flavor. Scheduled a cake tasting for our wedding and my husband too was an instant fan, and he does not do sweets. Our wedding cake was a hit on our big day! The plan was to have our guests enjoy it all. We didn't save any of it because there was nothing left to save. Everyone loved it and if they didn't, I went around and ate their slice too because it just was that delicious. We added a lemon jam to one tier and a raspberry to another and left the original flavor to the top. I absolutely love the fact that I can stop in Cafe a la C'Art and have a slice of my wedding cake at any time.

It was much better than I expected for a museum cafe. They were good about practicing COVID protocols. My hamburger was big with cheese, avocado, bacon and greens with lots of fries. My wife’s sandwich was tasty and came with a huge salad. The staff was friendly.
It is fast casual so you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. The wait person was good about bringing me extra sauce for my burger.

Four of us went here for lunch after touring the Art Museum. All the food was excellent and the restaurant ambiance was very nice. Our group was split with the Portobello Sandwich (2), the Kale Apple Salad, and the Pozole. Everyone enjoyed their selection and I thought the Pozole was outstanding. Prices were very reasonable considering the food quality.

Not only is the food fantastic, but the mosaics on the patio are so attractive. I had the Salmon Nicoise, and it was delicious. I also had the (non-alcoholic) Sangria spritzer. The dessert case is a definite draw, and I couldn't pass up a chocolate chip walnut cookie. Even my husband, who isn't a dessert person per so, had to have a slice of their lime custard dessert cake. At Cafe a la C'Art, you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table when it is ready.

We stopped in before a concert at the music hall, within walking distance. We had salmon cakes as appetizer, short ribs as main course and apricot cheese cake for desert. All was fantastic. Service was friendly but not rushing us. Definitely would go back.

We really enjoyed having lunch here. I had the salmon eggs Benedict and my husband had the Build your own burger with fries. The salmon patties were excellent and eggs done to perfection. The burger and fries was very tasty. We had hot teas that were served with a china teapot which was very much appreciated! Service was excellent.

Had lunch here before visiting the Museum of art. Restaurant is located in old family home with many smaller rooms with 3-4 tables per room. Also had outdoor dining. I had the Cafe Croque sandwich. Sooo good! Husband had the Chicken Cobb where they added avacado and dates. Also delish! Mimosa topped it all off.

It's a lovely old Tucson dwelling, beautifully decorated to be a restaurant. The food is outstanding, and it is virtually in the courtyard of the Tucson Museum of Art. It is also a very short walk to all sorts of historic houses and building. It can be a good half day experience.

Really a special place. We were here with a wedding party after the rehearsal, group of about sixty to seventy people. Well done, great buffett, terrific food and service. Ate outside with others. Easy to get to buffet and also the bar. Also very easy to walk around from table to table. Excellent choices of food and drink. Very impressive area to eat, drink and mingle. Highly recommend for either eating with a small group of 2 to 10...or a larger group of 60 to 70 as we did. But plan ahead as I suspect that it does get busy on weekends.

After visiting the Gem Museum (which is definitely worth seeing) we walked to the Cafe a La C'Art it might be a little difficult to find, but one of the people in our group of 7 had been before and knew how to find it. You ordered at the counter and a server brings the food. I had the Salmon omelette that I thought was very good. Some of the group had salads, the Ham sandwich, and breakfast items. We ordered several desserts for the table to share. Because we had so much food I took the lemon cake to have it boxed to take home and I learned the all the desserts and pasteries are made by the pastry chef who has been there for 20 years. This place is definitely worth visiting either after going to the Gem Musuem or the Tucson Museum of art both of which are nearby. I would highly recommend a visit.

Open for brunch or lunch in a unique environment (both indoor and outdoor). Review the menu and place an order then the food is brought to your table. To my mind the portions were more than adequate. Give this place a try!

We were looking for something light and had just arrived and didn't know our way around. Cafe a La C'art was recommended by our innkeeper. Glad she told us how to find it. The entrance can be missed easily. We weren't sure the door we entered was right, but saw rooms on each side of the halllway with tables. Then a larger room with bar. But we continued on through some doors onto their patio area. It was a cool evening, but their heaters kept us warm. The area was beautifully landscaped and decorated. Our "something light" turned into a turkey croissant for me and a Mediterranean hummus plate for my wife. We were both very pleased with the food. Topped with a couple glasses of wine, our quick, light night out became a great memory.
