We like it here. It's quiet, with tablecloths to absorb sound, and unassuming. We frequently order the saag paneer but also enjoy the pakoras, kormas and biriyani. And the naan with fruit. And the rice that is tastily studded with cumin seed. Really good!

We have discovered, quite by chance, the hands-down best Indian food in Tucson. We have been to this restaurant three times, and each time the service and food were exceptional. The restaurant has an extensive menu and the prices are very reasonable. We have taken home enough left-overs for another meal and it was just as good the next day.... More

They need to improve on food quality and taste. I never had such experience anywhere while having Indian food.

I have been coming here for the last 20 years. The food used to be fabulous- the best in Tucson. But over the last 5 years or so it has gone downhill - worse and worse every meal- until now I am sorry to say it will be my last visit. I keep going- hoping for that old familiar taste... More

Oh, for the days when this place was able to satisfy the craving! I've been coming here for almost 15 years and to tell you quite honestly, the past few have been going down in taste, food quality (spices and texture and ingredients) and just overall satisfaction. We stopped in yesterday cause I was craving samosas. We decided to do... More

Four friends met my wife and I for lunch yesterday, and we all had the buffet except Barbara. She likes her food a bit spicier so she ordered from the menu. She thoroughly enjoyed her "spicy" meal, but ours was not to shabby either. Many good choices on the buffet , and the only reason I gave it 4 instead... More

I made a reservation for this restaurant very far in advance but when we showed up they said we had made it for a different day. That was a strange start but they put together several tables for our group and accommodated us just the same. We all got the buffet which was pretty tasty and had a variety of... More

This is not my first review of Gandhi. Yet they are still an excellent Indian eatery. The place is clean, the service is friendly and prompt and whether you go for the buffet or a menu entree, the food is terrific. The servings are ample, hot, and spiced to your requested taste. The rest rooms are clean too. We go... More

The food is very good and tasty. The portions are large. We ordered the MURGH MIRCHI chicken tikka in fresh onions, herbs and a tangy sauce and the SHAHJEHAN chicken, lamb, fish, shrimp and vegetables. The service and quick and friendly.

went here for dinner on a recent trip to Tucson. It was a weekday and there were only two tables occupied in all. Seems it's more of a lunch time restaurant as they offer a buffet in lunch. Service was good and prompt and ambiance was nice inside the restaurant. Food was good but could have been better.
