We had our Friday friends dinner at the Dakota this past week. A little tight in this small place for a group of 12. Nice for small groups or couples right in Trail Dust Town. Food is very good, but not budget prices. I had the Chicken Enchiladas - very good - taste like homemade ! Everyone said their meals... More

Decided to try Dakota Bar and Grill based on the posted reviews. Not much of a dinner menu, mostly sandwiches. The brisket was ok, too much sauce. Server was playing hostess, server and bartender. For a sandwich and drink, ok, dinner not so much.

Had another very enjoyable brunch with friends and food and service were both excellent. We did want to specifically thank our server Katie, who was outstanding, and very cheerful. We had not seen her in a number or years, apparently for her leave to pursue education. Great to have her back and all is well at Dakota. Thanks, Fred and... More

Following our visit to the Museum of the Horse Soldier we had a wander around Trail Dust Town nearby and found the Dakota. As it was very quiet we were somewhat wary but we were well pleased that we decided to eat here. I had a chicken salad and asked for blue cheese dressing, they had none, but, the Chef... More

Great little lunch stop after our visit to the Museum of the Horse Soldier. Sandwiches were excellent as was the service. Located in Trail Dust Town and looking over the picturesque town square, it made the perfect lunch stop.

First, I don't criticize restaurants to be mean but with the hope that they might improve. Had breakfast there on Sunday, 10/23/16, and still feel the let down and irritation that a really bad meal can cause. Kept it simple with the Dakota; potatoes, egg, sausage and toast. The potatoes were not done, some almost raw and the egg undercooked... More

Dakota Grill has changed its name back from Rounders - short-lived after a disaster suggestion by a consultant. Four of us visited. We ordered a bottle of local Arizona wine - Stronghold - very good surprisingly! Then each couple shared a salad - one the house; the other caesar - both were good and well proportioned for sharing. Great start.... More

Dear Gayle, I want to apologize about you last experience and the changes recently at Dakota. I will look into to your concerns about our food. We have not made any changes to the quality of our products and I'm not sure why they would have been inconsistent. I hope you will give us another try. Thank you for you... More

Alas, Dakota is no more, replaced by Rounders Grill. Whether this is a change of ownership or simply a re-design is not clear but it is not a step forward. Hardly anything seems to have changed except the menu that now features mainly hamburgers instead of the Dakota’s much more varied and interesting carte. Really, does Tucson need yet another... With the name change to Rounders, the quality of the food has really dropped. Still great service, but no reason to return

I have used the catering service and have eaten at the restaurant. I have not been disappointed yet. Great atmosphere and fabulous food. I don't have to drive all the way downtown to enjoy this type of restaurant.
