The location in the foothills overlooking Tucson is quite nice. The service was excellent. The food was fresh and well seasoned and balanced and the wine selection is solid and affordable. But as a long time resident of Tucson I miss the Scordato's on Speedway.

In over 18 years of eating at Vivace, I consider it a sure bet for an excellent dining experience. A first choice for a special occasion. Both lunch and dinner offer many good choices.

We enjoyed our risotto, salads and wine very much. However the atmosphere and service were good but not a wow. This was recommended by a friend and while we would eat there again this is not a "must do" place.

Are you easy on the salt. Most restaurants use too much salt.

Yes. Every meal is prepared fresh, so if you want low salt, just ask when ordering. This is upscale Northern Italian, not the spaghetti and meatball house that is so common.
Why do you not show pricing for your wine list?

The dress code is listed as business casual. I did not see any of the men wearing a tie and most had on nice slacks and button up shirt. Most of the ladies were either in dress pants and tops or long skirts and tops. I did... More

Rated number one for food in Tucson, by Zagat Survey, this Foothills restaurant has a Tuscan decor providing northern Italian fare, thoughtfully prepared with reasonable prices and wine list. Choose from a selection of appetizers, salads, pasta and main plates such as crab filled breaded chicken breast or grilled fresh salmon and rock shrimp. Relaxed inside and patio dining.
