We have tried to go here 4 different times but the wait has always been too long for Us. So on our last day in Tucson this is what we wanted to do! Waited 30 minutes.... got a table for 4 -6 even though it was just the 2 of us. Seemed like a waste. No wonder there is always... More

Mi Nidito is something that you need to try when you're in Tucson. It's famous for Bill Clinton stopping there once. It's also known for having a long wait and supposedly good food. What I definitely enjoyed was the carne seca chimichanga. Chimichangas are an Arizona invention and Tucson is known for carne seca. I combined both for my dinner.... More

We took our niece on a Sunday night. She needed a break from finals at U of A. Apparently the school tells students to avoid the south side of town so she had never been in this area. The restaurant is located in an industrial area but was filled with friendly locals all chatting in the waiting area. There is... More

Given the closeness of the restaurant to our hotel and the highly positive reviews here on Tripadvisor my daughter and I decided to give Mi Nidito a try. We figured that the food had to be well above par given that the parking lots were jammed and there was a 45 minute wait at 6pm on a Friday evening. After... More

Fun people watching for first time in Tucson but fare more bland than our preference. Probably why so many people there with small children. Fare price good service.

On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, we stopped by this restaurant after a day hike in Saguaro National Park. We were surprised at the number of people waiting to get a seat. We were greeted by a happy guy who took our name and offered us a cold beer. We enjoyed looking around at the pictures of numerous celebrities who've eaten... More

What a great restaurant. We had a 45 minute wait and it was well worth the authentic Mexican fare. The service was excellent and the portions are so big I wished we shared a dinner. We really enjoyed the décor and servers. It is a family friendly restaurant and you could tell there were many "regulars" in the restaurant. When... More
