Caruso's is a Tucson landmark. It was one of the places where many years ago as a child I would go with my family on a Friday nights to get pizza. On a recent visit to Caruso's we were disappointed with the quality of the food . It wasn't at all authentic- old school tasting Italian cuisine . Much to... More

We have lived in Tucson for 17 years and had never been to Caruso's. Last night we made it there with some friends. We 3 couples gave it 4 stars. Maybe you have to eat in the patio to get the vibe of the place, but the surprise of the garden and lovely trees put us in a very Italian... More

Since I am now gluten free it is hard to eat at Italian restaurants other than eating salad. I was impressed with Caruso's because they have a nice gluten free menu that includes some pasta. I had chicken Parmesan with a nice house salad (you could also opt for pasta.) Very good. Hubby had lasagna with meatballs which he really... More

This is an old school Italian restaurant located in downtown Tucson. It was recommended by the desk clerk at my hotel as one to try. My meal was tasty and prepared well. The pasta that accompanied my Chicken Parmesan was also a nice side dish. The garlic bread wasn't as fresh as I would have liked. Service was good and... More

Awesome service and food! Parking is on street so it might be hard at times to find a parking spot close to establishment. The wait was not long, service is awesome, they are on top of things and keep coming to check on you constantly. Food is delicious!

We looked for non chain restaurants and found Caruso's in downtown. It was awesome. Great food and service. We sat outside on the patio. All great homemade food. It was such good quality. Just what we look for as we travel in our motorhome.

We waited 25 minutes for a table, even though it was a Wednesday night. We then waited 30 minutes for our salad and another 25 for our meals. The waiter was apologetic; however, we had two children at the table and requested that their food be brought out first. It was brought out with the adult meals and was cold.... More

This may be the worst food I have ever had in a restaurant. We were there for an early dinner, around six on a Friday. Despite the fact that the place was only about one quarter full, they make you wait out on the porch for fifteen minutes to be seated. It goes along with a weird vibe all of... More

This is a nice old Italian restaurant (been there since 1938) in the old part of Tucson. The food was good-though not great. The salad dressing is amazing! It's a house creamy Italian that is so good I bought some to take home. I'm serious-go for the dressing and vintage location!

Went to Caruso's for lunch today. I have heard glowing reviews in the past. What a disappointment. The service was poor. It took our waiter over 15 min to get 2 glasses of water. Then another 15 minutes to come back to get our drinks order. We figured we should order then because he might totally forget us. The shrimp... More
