We made reservations at Wildflower. When we arrived, we were given the choice of sitting in the main room or on the patio, which was enclosed by plastic. We opted for the pation, since it was much quieter. This was January and it was pretty cold out, but the patio had lots of heaters and so it was very comfortable... More

I had missed a couple of opportunities to go to Wildflowers and I finally made it tonight for the first time. The restaurant labels itself New American - whatever that means - and to me it looked more like European home cooking. My friend and I enjoyed every moment of it, from sitting in the heated patio to sharing the... More

There is a reason why Wildflower has been around so long; still great service and wonderful food in a very classy setting. Definitely not too ostentatious, this is a great place for a date night or friends and family gathering for special occasions. Arrive early or make reservations - they are on Open Table.

For a truly great restaurant the place has a wonderfully informal feel. You eat in view of the kitchen, a trend one sees more and more in finer eating establishments. I was greeted by no less than 4 staff members during my visit all of whom called me by my first name. The service was impeccable; attentive but not hovering.... More

At first glance when you approach this restaurant you might think it just another Mall Eatery but once under the open air awnings as well as in the restaurant interior you will be impressed with the ambience, the staff friendliness and courtesy. Excellent menu that will keep you coming back. This restaurant is part of the "Fox": chain and in... More

We have been going to Wildflower ever since it opened several years ago. We enjoy having a meal there before the dinner rush otherwise the noise level tends to be a bit much. They have a nice selection of wine. The Fox Pinot Noir (something like that) is very good. The servers are very nice and aim to please.

Wildflower was the first new "upscale restaurant" in Tucson. It opened a few years after my wife and I moved from the New York City area to Tucson. It was consistent and had an ambiance. Unfortunately, it lost its focus and began serving half chicken and a pork chop with no bones. We abandoned the restaurant for a number of... More

A modern take on comfort food served with style and verve. Use of locally sourced food also takes it to another level.

Emerson wrote, “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds..." Went to Wildflower, the last of the Fox restaurants in Tucson worth of your time and attention, a few month ago for dinner, had short rib ravioli — extraordinary! Four weeks later, ordered the same dish — disappointing and mediocre. Experimentation and change is wonderful when it remains at... More

Description
As with everything great, one must first seek the roots. In our case, we are lucky enough to have our first restaurant, Wildflower, continuously thriving and serving the local and die-hard fans of Fox Restaurant Concepts in Tucson. While our seasonal menu changes with the calendar, the walls and décor with the years, the one thing that has remained steadfast and true is Wildflower’s carefully constructed plates, artfully shaken martinis and loyalty to its guests. You could call it a long-term love affair, and you’d just be scratching the surface.
