Most indian restaurants in Tucson are northern indian. this place is southern indian. the fare is fresh and delicious. Much lighter than norhtern indian food. the dosa was amazing. a meal in itself. the chicken was tender and clean. vegetable curry was made with fresh vegetables (not frozen) still with a crunch (so not cooked to oblivion). the sauces were... My wife had a lamb sagai and I had lamb vindaloo and we shared a vegetable dish. We had been away from our home near Vancouver BC which has some of the best indian food so we did not have high expectations. We love indian food however and needed a "fix". The food was surprisingly good. Portions were a bit... More

Service was fairly fast and very friendly. We had chicken Tikka and lamb korma. Both dishes and the naan were excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Wifi is free, download speed was tested at 5.5 MPS.

Anybody who knows anything about Indian food will recognize that the grub in this place is excellent. I spent years in London and ate my way through the Brick Lane curry houses -- this joint stacks up against the best of them. Aside from the quality and authenticity of the food, the prices and service are top notch.

Located in a drab strip mall off of Grant Road, this place doesn't look like much from the outside, and the decor inside isn't a whole lot better, as its rather austere. But it's well worth the food, extensive menu, knowledgeable service; it might have been one of the owners who waited on us, as when I ordered the Lamb... More

Went here for lunch and it was delicious. The garlic naan, panek paneer and samosa were very good. The desert of honey balls were good also. Portions for lunch were smaller than expected.

Food was excellent. Too many customers there for the one server at lunch. Quiet atmosphere so a good place to have a nice conversation.

This is a small quiet place on Grant St. Thank goodness there's no buffet. The dishes were well cooked and very well seasoned. We had lunch, so the offerings were not extensive. My husband had chicken korma while I had a couple of appetizers. All in all, a very good experience.

This place is family owned, and what you eat is cooked from scratch by the Indian mom or dad in the back kitchen while the son takes your order. Service is good, food is great. I recommend the dish that has the big crepe with the spiced potatoes inside, and the creamy chicken curry, and the paneer (cheese) curry. Also... More

We were driving down East Grant looking for a place to have lunch before a doctor's appointment. My wife spotted Curry Leaf. It's not where you would expect an Indian restaurant. We stopped expecting the usual lunch buffet. We were pleasantly surprised! I had the chicken vindaloo, she had the chicken korma. The vindaloo was spicy, as expected. My wife... More
