First time I ever ate at Haruki, and 3rd time I ever hadn't sushi.. I must say really didn't like sushi till I had it here. I love the tuna crisp...and the Philadelphia rolls. Then I topped it's off with green tea fried ice cream. You must try.

My husband and I rarely eat sushi except when we are in CA or HI. Given the reviews here we had to try Haruki. Excellent sushi, attentive service, great atmosphere, nice sake list. We got there at 5:30 PM on a Saturday and were glad we were early because the place filled up fast. We'll be back!

good sushi and the other food is good too. they only order one or two hamachi a day so you have to get in early if you want hte collar. just a good sign that they order enough but just enough food to keep it fresh. place gets busy but deservably so.

We tried Sushi, Tonkatsu, and Yakisoba. Everything tasted great, but the Sushi rice was a bit too hard. The restaurant was small and crowded, so I didn't feel very relaxed, but the food was definitely good traditional Japanese.

Haruki East hands down has the best and freshest tasting Sushi in Rhode Island. No other restaurant in the area can compare. The Tuna Crisp (not on their regular menu) is the best sushi roll I have ever eaten and often converts sushi-phobic friends! Lunch menu Bento boxes are a great value. Prices are in line with other Japanese restaurants... More

It was our first time eating sushi and we certainly picked the right place! Haruki came as a recommendation and did not disappoint. The food is incredibly fresh and the wait staff are friendly and helpful. We left feeling entertained and full. Delish!

Don't get me wrong - Haruki East does not do bad sushi. The fish is acceptably fresh and the rolls are nicely made. The service is fine and the prices are quite reasonable for sushi of this quality. However, for those who believe this restaurant is worth anything more than 3.5 stars, I would venture that you haven't ever really... More

First, let's be clear. This is our home town. We have eaten here countless times. However we have also eaten sushi in lots of other places here and elsewhere...this is the best. Very fresh; we tend to order sashimi more often than not, and the quality is unsurpassed. The temperature, the texture are perfect. They offer mutsu (black marlin), while... More
