I had the special pumpkin waffle with apple/caramel sauce for lunch - it was fabulous. It was pretty busy for lunch - all but a couple of tables were full - and they only had two waitresses so service was a bit slow. But otherwise...More

A popular storefront cafe with limited lunch menu items. Very much like a common cafe menu with standards; ie. hot dogs, chicken sandwich, hamburgers. Nothing "special: as food tasted frozen warehoused common fare. OK for a meal but no gourmet items.

Spent the day in Estes Park and grabbed lunch at the Mtn Home Cafe. Menu was a good mix of lunch and breakfast items. I had the chicken poppy seed salad and it had a whole chicken breast that was very tenderly cooked. Kids also...More

A casual atmosphere with tasty breakfast options. Definitely try the green chili or omelettes. Great value with the price to flavor/portion. I would eat here again. It has a family owned feel. Great for a mountain town, average for an overall Cafe.

BEST GREEN CHILE I’ve had in a while but sadly served only as a small side at breakfast. Multigrain waffle was nice and crunchy! But no butter? Wife ordered the breakfast burrito and it was awesome: spicey chorizo, crispy hash browns and scrambled eggs smothered...More

Do not think they would survive if they were not in a tourist town. Very ordinary food and service. Being close to town is their main attraction.

Had a nice lunch after touring the Stanley. I enjoy small cafes, so this was perfect for what I was looking for. They offer a trout breakfast with eggs that I am not able to get back home. I will return if in Estes again.

Pets are permitted on the patio, as long as the surrounding customers do not have any allergies. The patio opens after May 10th, weather permitting. Thank you for the inquiry.

I was a guest at the cafe. It is in the downtown area of Estes Park in the Safeway Shopping Center. About 5 miles I believe from the park entrance. They have the space available to accommodate a party your size (several were... More
