Food here is very good and they have an elaborate bar as well. Service here is exceptional. Dessert was also great and made from scratch.

I totally fell in love with the yak burger. recommended by a bartender just down the street. It is juicy and more rich than beef. wait staff was fast and friendly. We just walked in off the street and ate although the nachos he had, were almost tasteless. we enjoyed our time

Good service, good food. Beautiful town. We had stuffed mushroom caps and some great bloody Marys. It's worth the stop!

Don't waste your time and money on this place. The burgers were overcooked, thin and dry. The Shepherds (elk) pie was good but not great. We did not try desert.

My Husband and I had dinner here while on vacation. The place has a very rustic atmosphere with historic pictures. We had the elk burger and buffalo burger and they were the best burgers in Estes park. We tried elk burgers in different places and this one was the best. They have a large selection of craft beer. Noise level... More

Like others, this place was recommended to us, and it fell well below any reasonable expectation. We were there for lunch. The food was mediocre to dismal. The tomatoes in my husband's salad were downright disgusting--white and slimy--and the cup of soup I ordered arrived barely lukewarm. The server never smiled once and was underwhelming at best. Terrible overall.

1st time here, though my wife insists we've eaten there before. Server recommended the yak burger, so we each ordered one. First time eating yak, and it was delicious. One of the best burgers we've ever had, chase it down with a cold beer and life is good!

My husband and I enjoyed this charming restaurant with good wine and terrific steak. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. It has an older style Colorado feel to it with rustic decor.

Talk about an epic disappointment. All beers we ordered were bottled and the waiter failed to put in our order for quite sometime. Once our food arrived, my husband's hamburger was so under cooked that he could not eat more than a few bites. Worst of all, the waiter paid no attention to this detail, did not ask how the... More

I went here for lunch with my family as they wanted to try some wild game burgers. Grubsteak offers beef, elk, buffalo, or yak (are there yak in the Rockies?). We ordered beef, elk, and buffalo. All were OK, but not worth the $3+up charge over beef. The fries, however, were excellent. They have a good selection of beers to... More
