What a horrible dining experience! My wife and stopped at Nicky's for a nice dinner. We should have left when we were the only people in the restaurant. I ordered prime rib and my wife had filet and crab. Worst steaks ever. After the third piece of prime rib and second filet we walked out. The steaks tasted like they... More

Good food but not great and small portions for the price. My wife had Mahi Mahi and I had the shrimp scampi both meals were close to $30. The portions were small and meal was ok, great baked potato! My meal only had 4 medium shrimp and for $30 I expected at least 6 if not eight. The seasoning was... More

Very poor. Quality of food was below average. Very dry and tasteless. Variety very limited. One in our party commented that they had not been happy with their past three visits. It appears this restaurant is trying to survive on past glory and has quit caring. Great setting but if you for the good, prepare to be disappointed.

We went to Nicky's for what we thought would be a nice steak dinner before our haunted tour of the Stanley. My husband had eaten there before and remembered it being really good. Unfortunately, his good experience may as well have been a long ago dream. We each ordered a rare steak, soup and potatoes (fried for him, mashed for... More

We visited for the prime rib buffet. There was plenty of food to be eaten but the price was pretty high. The prime rib was okay. The other seafood was pretty mediocre at best. The clam chowder was excellent but the desserts were poor. We ate a lot but it was not great cuisine. The service was excellent and the... More

We tried Nickys last August because the had a Prime rib and crab leg buffet. Not to mention oysters on the half shell. I thought I'd found heaven. Boy, was I mistaken. The oysters were downright scary looking. I put a few of the better looking ones on my plate and could only stomach one. The snow crab was barely... More

WAY overpriced, tough tasteless steaks and prime rib, undone baked potatoes, warm flat beer...you get the drift. LOTS of other options in Estes, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Dined in the lounge, Prime Rib and Nicky's Onion soup. SO GOOD! Laid back atmosphere, dark and cozy, piano music was wonderful. They created a nice vibe and were reasonably priced on everything. I want more!

After my fiancé and I got engaged in the Rocky Mountains we were looking for a place to have a nice dinner to celebrate. It was kind of late and the majority of places close pretty early in Estes Park, at least during the slow season which it was. We decided on Nicky's and we had a fantastic experience! We... More
