Just had a great lunch at Café Pesto in Kawaihae. My wife had a BLT pizza and I had the Luau pizza. Both were exceptional. The service was great and friendly. And the price, $13.95 for each pizza was a great deal for what you received.

Great food in what seems to be an industrial area. Caesar salad and coconut crusted calamari were delicious. Pizzas were also very good.

Loved this place! I had the Grilled chicken risotto and it was delicious. Both my parents for the mango chicken and loved it as well. DONT SKIP DESSERT!!! The cheesecake is to die for with the macadamia nut cookie crust! Make sure to make a reservation :)

Very good food at a reasonable price. Italian theme but more seafood items. Very good pizzas as well. The Kalua style pork, sweet onion and pineapple pizza is a unique taste. Service is good. Reservations are recommended as it serves the nearby hotels plus locals and can be busy.

We came by here without a reservation on a Friday evening having been at the volcano all day. That being said, we were seated immediately, and the service was pleasant and timely. We started with a sampler of island beers which was fun and from several local breweries. The appetizer shrimp nachos was outstanding and so unique for us! Entrees... More

Had dinner here one night in the bar. The service was great. The pizza was pretty good, not the best but decent. I had a salad to start which was fresh but ice cold plate which I don't love, seems straight from the fridge. I guess some may like that but not me. Staff was super friendly but the vibe... More

I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant. I found the food delish and I've also eaten at their sister restaurant in Hilo which is also very good. Reasonable and great service at both places. Highly recommend reservations because they do fill up fast. Lunch is also available. Pizza, pastas, and specials

There are two locations. Both offer fresh dishes prepared with local ingredients. There are pizzas with some Italian influence, but many of the pizzas and other dishes have an added local flare. You won't be disappointed with anything you select. The salads have local greens and vegetables freshly prepared. In addition, they have kitchen prepared soups. Entrees feature meats and... More

We went here for a casual afternoon meal, at the recommendation of my Brother-in-Law, and were pleasantly surprised. Food was great, service was outstanding. Would recommend trying this place if you are down that way.
