Had dinner at Chama River with my family last night and all I can say is "Wow." Gratis food great service and very cozy. We started with the Green Chile Fondue which was a great appetizer to nibble on. The wife and had the duck which was cooked perfect and tender. I had the NY steak friites and it was... More

CRB has become a staple when I am in NM. The selection of craft beers is always great but a brew pub with a world class chef and menu is what sets it apart. Hands down the best Caesar you will eat and med rare salmon puts it over the top. Any duck selection (which I rarely order) will be... More

I love Chama River. But it was not the same last night. Our server was great, really nice & funny. But the service was sloooooow! Like ridiculously slow. I guess we must've gotten there after a big party... they got all the bread, we didn't get any. We asked our waiter & he said he was asking the kitchen to... More

Went for lunch on a Sunday, expecting to indulge ourselves (or at least some of us were planning on this) at the Bloody Mary bar. We were disappointed to find it had been discontinued but we did enjoy the Bloody Mary's delivered to the table. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The Southwest Chicken Pot pie has a puff pastry crust and... More

My wife and I dined Saturday evening. Michael was a great server and his friendly demeanor made for a liesurly and enjoyable meal. My Kobe meatloaf was well prepared and tasty. My wife's seabass was excellent. Beer was a good start and the bottle of Temp paired well with both entrees.

We went to Chama River mid-afternoon to avoid the crowds. This is one place that has everything - good food, good beer, and attentive service. We ordered from the lunch menu this visit and my husband had the Waygu burger (huge, delicious burger topped with the green chile cheese fondue, fried onions) plus sweet potato fries. I had the Southwestern... More

The Broken Spoke beer was really good We thoroughly enjoyed the green chili cheese fondue and very much appreciated our waiter Steven who not only brought us more green chili cheese biscuits to dunk in our fondue he also was a wealth of great NFL football jokes!

Service was mediocre, at best. Me and my wife each ordered a pint and received our beers ten minutes later. My prime rib was cold (though I didn't complain) and overall the food was terrible. Worst $70 dollars I ever spent. Go to Nexus (east side of the interstate) if your looking for craft beer and good food or any... More

We went in for a normal dinner on New Years. I was surprised to find that this place was offering a special menu for the holiday. It was a bit more expensive but we figured why not? It was beautiful! Each course was amazing and had wonderful pairings! I would say I wish there was more but I was so... More
