We saw a number of reviews that said the food was not so good but that was definitely not our experience. The half and half (chicken strips and fish) was a good experience. While the chicken was rather average, the fish and French fries were delivery good. The chicken salad in an avocado was huge - two avocado halves each... More

This is still a three star place, considering how very few restaurants in the world have a built-in aquarium of this size. Also, I appreciated how we could pay at the counter, pick our own table, and get our own drinks at a soda fountain; it made things faster and more efficient, when their service has always been very slow... When we lived in Albuquerque we would go to the Shark Reef cafe at the Biopark Aquarium for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I would friends there for lunch, take business clients there or just hang out with a soda and salad and watch the fish. I especially liked the tank since it's theme is the Gulf of Mexico off the... Going to Shark Reef was always a treat for us and the view couldn't be beat! We loved taking our out of town friends to show off this little gem in Albuquerque. There have been a few changes over the years that lessened the quality but yesterday's visit will very likely be my last one. I took my manager out... More

Kids have such a great time, and the staff is so friendly. Menu is quite affordable, and we loved the conservation theme!

Food is top rate. Selection is minimal but what they do have is really good. Not too pricy considering the location.

Good food from limited selection but it's a perfect way to watch the vast variety of fish, sharks, barracuda, etc. behind the glass which covers one whole wall. They have breakfast and lunch. Burgers are good, and of course they have a New Mexico Green Chile Cheeseburger. Menu is on their website. Prices are reasonable. We've even gone there when... More

You can’t beat this dining experience! Yes - there’s sinister-looking, beady eyed sharks swimming by! Plus huge sea turtles, polka-dotted puffer fish, & clown-costumed triggerfish with protruding lips outlined in radiant blue stripes. A truly wondrous merry-go-round of all sorts of fish to see! We were also amazed by one gigantic stingray - seemingly “smiling” at us as it pressed... More

We enjoyed this as part of our day at the Bio-Park... It has good food and they have a very good menu; but this is a park and the food quality drops to "meh" despite their efforts. Great wait staff and venue (you can watch some very large fish, turtles and shark swim while you munch)

The cafe was even close to capacity, with probably only 1/3 of the available tables occupied, and our party of 7 was by far the largest. We received the menus promptly and our order was taken pretty quickly. However, we waited and waited and waited for our food to arrive. The dishes themselves (salads, burgers, fries, sandwhiches) were tasty and... More
