You would never expect it in this part of town but the Daily Grind is an oasis of relaxing vibes. I used to be a regular when they were located downtown - they made an awesome oatmeal back then, and when they moved to mid valley, I didn't know where they went. Well, I have found them and they are... More

Table of four on a slow night with only two other tables occupied. We all had burgers & waited way too long for them to be served. Not to mention the 5 minutes they sat in the window, seriously. Cold fries and warm burgers. Forget about getting the waitress to come to the table. Had to get up to ask... More

A friend who lives in Albuquerque took us here for lunch the other day, and the three of us had a delicious meal......I loved their version of a Waldorf Salad, my friends each had a chef's salad, and we were all clean platers! Portions are very generous, service was great despite the large crowd and the price is right. We... More

We came upon the Daily Grind purely by chance as it's hidden away and not on a main thoroughfare. The decor is pleasant, seating is somewhat limited but turnover kept waiting times quite reasonable. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Prices are reasonable with a number of lunch entrees under $10. My Curry Chicken Salad was very tasty and served... More

It's close, it's delicious, it's local--don't miss out! The breakfast puff pocket (with green chile) and homemade scones alone are worth the trip!

We stopped by for a quick business lunch and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and fresh, the service was great and the environment was positive. Also in and out in perfect timing in order to get back to work. I recommend the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich!!

I was looking for a place to have breakfast and meet up with my sweetie and this place popped up as being close by. It is wonderful! You walk up to a nice courtyard with multicolored seating..can't wait til it gets warm! The coffee is great and what you need to try for breakfast is the puff pastry pocket filled... More

this is a fantastic down to earth find; a great little restaurant removed from the grime of the city, staffed by friendly folks, and, the best part, LIVE MUSIC by local musician Peter Chase! Finally a venue for we acoustic music lovers that highlights local talent! People appreciate this and definitely tell their friends...the Daily Grind is becoming a Saturday... More

Came in at 9:00 on a Thursday morning. Place was jumping, one large group and several solos. Service was prompt and attentive. Coffee(drip regular) was terrific- wife had the herbal tea - nice presentation! Appeared as though the dining room was staffed with husband/wife team & they were dialed in! Elected to share their Breakfast Burrito = good call. Red... More

Always pleasant service. Menu much improved. Really excellent cappuccino. Can get loud in peak times, but great between meals for quiet coffee and scone.
