Huge mushrooms stuffed with real crabmeat...and not overdone on the stuffing filler. The sauce is amazing and very flavorful. After having these as an appetizer...I was already feeling full. They were filling and super tasty!

We were visiting in town from Dallas (myself) and Maryland (my sister). She lived in Corpus Christi till she was 24 years old (I left when I was 12 years old) and has loved Water Street for years. So we had to eat there! What a delicious meal! I'm vegetarian (no seafood either) but I found more than enough to... More

Stoppin for lunch adn to try some more oysters .They had a platter that had rockafeller, ones with blue cheese (those were ok) and fresh. Good food , good prices but the service was kind of slow. Workers were standing around while I was waiting for our srinks and the also to take our order. Overall nice place

We ate there for dinner one night, I had the fresh oysters. They were large and very clean not gritty at all. We also had the catch of the day which was excellent. My kids had pasta with shrimp that they also liked. This is one of the better places we have eaten at on our Port A vacation

I was shocked, when I found out my favorite restaurant in Corpus was sold. I still had fond memories of the oyster bar, so I decided to try it. Well, all good things must come to an end, as they say. This place is NOT the oyster bar! The atmosphere, was really depressing, almost sad in a way. The food... More

I went here with a friend for dinner while traveling in the area. We were recommended to try the place out. I am not a fan of seafood so I chose the chicken dinner. The chicken was tasty and came with rice. My friend had a seafood sampler and enjoyed the crab cakes and the shrimp. Nice atmosphere and the... More

The food here was quite good. Their baked oyster special was good, the raw oysters on the half shell and peal and eat shrimp were fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed the crab stuffed mushroom and the crawfish po-boy. The food was good! Service on the other hand no so great. We ordered raw oysters and were served oyster Rockefeller.... More

Dined @ Water Street Oyster Bar 24Mar17 evening, was really not that busy. Service right from the beginning was somewhat off. The waiter was not sure on where to sit the two of us. We requested a booth. He didn't know whether to sit us up front or in the back. Finally, we get a booth, we asked the waiter... More

It has been a while since we have eaten here. My wife, a friend and I ate here on 3/16. We order the calamari. When it arrived at the table it looked a little dark. When I tasted it is was bitter and very greasy, Not that appetizing. I had the grilled Ahi tuna salad and it was very good.... More

We had great food and great service. The restaurant was busy (Spring break), but still friendly staff. The shrimp skewers (not what it is called on the menu) with the rice pilaf made my husband very happy.

Colorado

Hi,

My husband and I have been coming to Waterstreet Oyster bar for over 9 years. We also used to go to the Waterstreet in Fort Worth when it was there. We live in Colorado and cone to Port Aransas every winter for a few months. I am originally from Fort Worth so we enjoy wintering in TX. We've already been to Waterstreet this winter 4 times and it's always good. Today we came for lunch and Trey ( or Tray) was our waiter. I informed him that I am deadly allergic to shrimp, crab, crawfish and lobster, those 4 only. I can have mollusks like oysters and scallops but have to inform the waiter so he can inform the kitchen because I can die but my husband enjoys all those things and I settle for a burger or something else as long as I know it's not cross-contaminated. I made sure Trey understood and he tried to find a menu for people who have allergies which I told him I know what to order, I JUST wanted him to let the kitchen and cook to know. I have to go through this every time I go out for a meal and like I said, I've never had a problem with your restaurant. Today, after I took a couple of bites of my bacon cheeseburger, I started having some MAJOR allergy issues, thinking I would have to use my double epi-pen! I tried to stay calm and when we left, I took some allergy medication, but didn't use the epi-pen. I still have the facial burning and feel horrible but I'm just asking you to please inform your waiters and waitresses about these deadly allergies some of us have. My husband and I brought my nephew to Waterstreet the other evening for dinner. The waitress was awesome and told me what would be safe to order and the meal was fabulous. Some of the new help need to be trained on this issue and know how serious it is.

Thank you for your time.

Cindy
