The smothered burritos with cheese and onions are my favorite meal ever. Easily. If I had to only eat one thing for the rest of my life, this would be it. Been going here for almost 30 years. Moved away, now go every time I come back to town!

When you're in town for business and you still want to visit the children and grandchildren, it's always great to go out and eat. This was my first visit to this location and was happy to see familiar decor and even familiar faces. The food was great, the service was good but the floor bounced when a big guy walked... More

Okay if you are on a budget but love to eat out, la puente will do it for you. I've been going here since high school, and you have to try a smothered bean and cheese burrito. It's amazing a long with the free chips and salsa. I usually only spend like, 6 bucks total.

Smothered burritos are the speciality of this long established Mexican restaurant. Large portions and delicious food makes this restaurant one of my favorites in Salt Lake City.

I always order the smothered burritos with cheese and onions. I also order a side salad and mix it in with the smothered burritos. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant.

The food is very good and they serve it up fast. Almost to fast if that's possible. The service was great, the best thing is the value. We spent more on our breakfast this morning than we did for Dinner here.

Tried to eat at the Salt Lake location on State Street. They changed their menu, but didn't bother to read it. I ordered the light carb fajitas. It said it came with guacamole. It was brought to the table with avacodo slices. When I said the menu said it came with guacamole, my server said none of the fajitas can... More

Traditional Mexican food, roomy restaurant and good food. It's different than what we are used to in Texas. Favorite thing: flour tortillas!

The service is very good. The food is great. It's a good place to sit, eat, and chat with friends. Or a great place to eat a business lunch. The daily specials include a huge plate full of hot food.
