The OTC is the real thing. A great breakfast menu with creative comfort food. I had the train wreck. Hash browns, sausage , bacon, onion, green pepper, over east egg, topped with great gravy. They added jalapeños to mine on request. Great fast service and...More

Whenever I make a trip to SLC to visit family, OTC is my favorite place to meet for breakfast to start our day. The servers always make you feel welcome and the food is absolutely the best. Rain or shine, this place is our first...More

Sunday morning was busy, but we got there early enough that we didn't have to wait. Later on, that would not be the case! This is a small place in a small shopping center, but it's one of those places that you can tell everyone...More

Typical diner. I believe it's quite popular with locals. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but would meet friends if it was their choice.

Loved this hole in the wall diner. Great service - friendly, kind, fast. Great prices (~$7 per meal). Great food and portions.

We love going to Over the Counter. It's a great diner where they only do breakfast. Everything is made fresh and the serving portions are big. I love the eggs Benedict Florentine and it's enough for my adult daughter and I to split. They also...More

A great simple old school style cafe. Wonderful food with all the basics but also great “new” items too. Ancient grain cakes were really good as were the eggs Benedict Florentine. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Good food, friendly and relatively quick service, but incredibly noisy. The staff don’t even pretend to be careful when it comes to hitting plates and glasses together, and the acoustics in the building don’t help matters any. So I really wouldn’t suggest this place for...More

I have been eating at "OTC" for years. Just now realized I've only ever had breakfast there. Love the Eggs Benedict, the Western Eggs Benedict (bacon and avocados) but mostly just the regular two eggs over medium, sausage patties, sliced/grilled potatos and english muffins. My...More

I've driven by this place at least once a week for years. Finally decided to stop in for Breakfast on a weekday and I am glad I did. The atmosphere is like a step back in time. Nothing fancy or pretentious, strictly informal, relaxing and...More
