Hubby and I both had blackened halibut sandwich, which was DELICIOUS!! Hubby likes spicy food, so he would have preferred stronger blackening seasoning; I don't care for overly spicy, so blackening seasoning was perfect for me (just a hint of heat). I added a squeeze...of lemon juice and a little salt and my sandwich was perfect! Their seasoned fries are also really good. I rated the pricing as mid range, but it would definitely be the high side of mid range on price. Our 2 sandwiches with fries, a soda, and a couple beers were around $65.More

i ordered a martini, chowder and caesar salad. chowder arrived in about 10 mins., tasted burnt like it was scraped off the bottom of pan, salad was lettuce with a side dish of salad dressing and some kind of 'plastic' cheese on top. martini arrived...25 min. later and was barely cold.More

Overall, probably not the best restaurant we will hit on our trip in the area. The food was very good, well above average, but nothing to wow us. Server was kind and worked very hard. The salad came out with a half moldy tomato that...kind of soured the experience. Crab cakes and salmon were cooked well. My wife loved her steak. Good remarks and can understand why it is a beloved place in the area.More

Dinner on a busy Sunday night. Emily, our server was excellent. Entrées of Halibut were perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. We sat downstairs and there was a continuous line of patrons waiting to be seated. At first it seemed disorganized, but as we watched we...realized the host, Aimi, was not only personable and managing the seating with grace and humor, speaking with all those in line and identifying people with reservations, but was doing so with purpose. We realized that we were watching a maestro conducting a symphony. Her ability to PACE the seating, sometimes more quickly and sometimes with delay accomplished the goal of allowing servers to smoothly serve and the kitchen the ability to prepare food properly. Not to diminish the chefs or servers as they all played an integral part in a delicious meal, but it all started at the door with Aimi.More

Came here for dinner while visiting from out of town based on recommendation of our VRBO host. Our server, Megan was a delight and recommended the crab stuffed halibut which we all got. Everyone agreed it was superb ! Plus Megan was very helpful on...sight seeing recommendations and other places to dine while we were here. A wonderful dining experience and well worth the wait. They take reservations and highly recommend doing so.More

Food was great, which is only reason for score of 3. We hadn’t booked but the chaos involved was crazy. Waited 40 mins which is fine, but were asked about 3/4 times for details. When we got a table, we then had many more people...standing waiting around us with the front door open near our table. Not comfortable. They then got our order wrong. We told them. It wasn’t corrected. Anyway, the only saving Graces were that the staff were very nice and the food was excellent, albeit not even very hot! Sorry to say the management haven’t got a clue, and only saved by the cooking and serving staff.More

Gets busy around 5.30 to 6 pm so if you are flexible, queue up earlier to secure a table. We had bar seats and liked it. Dungeness stuffed halibut, seafood platter and chowder were all great, incl. sides like green beans and mashed potatoes. Friendly...staff and one of the best options when dining out in Port Angeles! Went for a waterfront walk afterwards.More

Kokopelli is a must stop for the wife and I when we visit the Port Angeles and Sequim area. The food is locally sourced for the most part and the service is excellent.

We got here just before the rush and were seated right away. They got pretty busy later and service got a little slow, I think there were understaffed, but it was fine. The food was some of the best we had on our trip. The...bread and honey butter to start was excellent! They have a nice wine list that my wife and I enjoyed. And for our mains, we all enjoyed them. My wife said her shrimp was very good and my bouillabaisse was really great with seafood. A good stop if you're in PA.More

We asked for a seat at the bar so we could enjoy the view out the big window. Zach took care of us and had great suggestions when we asked for appetizers he liked. It’s a warm and inviting restaurant right a the edge of...the water and city pier. The house salad was u usually good with cranberries, pecans, queso cheese and a house made raspberry vinaigrette dressing. We loved the coconut shrimp and the recommended mushroom bruschetta did not disappoint,More

Kokopelli Grill is a nice place, and when I went it had to be the busiest restaurant in town. It took me 20-minutes to be seated even with a reservation. But the food was well worth the wait. They have a few levels of seating...and a bar with a view of the port, and overall the aesthetic is nice, classy, but doesn’t have that exclusive feel where the everyday person isn’t welcome. I can appreciate that, as I’m an ever-accepting person. The place was booming and for good reason. They have fantastic seafood, among the best I had in Washington. The staff was kind and personable, and I was a big fan of my server. He suggested I try the oysters, which were fresh from 45-minutes down the coast. They were good, and definitely fresh tasting, but not quite my favorite choice of seafood. My server suggested adding a little tabasco, which was an excellent suggestion. I’m not one for covering up my meats with sauces, but it added a rippling effect of flavors and cascading heat which was very pleasant. The bread was grainy but soft and the house-made butter made for a lovely starter. My server also suggested to try the smoked salmon chowder, mentioning they are known for it. It was rich, smooth and full of flavor, and it was very creamy with chunks of salmon, which was a delight. I have only had one other chowder that I’d argue might be better. So well worth a try! For my entree, I chose the fire grilled salmon, and wow, was I happy I did. The salmon was beautifully moist and flakey with a crisp and flavorful herby crust, which I love to see. I cook my fish this way as well at home. The fresh local flavor came through like no inland frozen seafood can ever touch. The asparagus was a nice touch, and was cooked well, as was the rice. Rice and salmon go together like all the best duos. For desert, I was stuffed, but when I saw the menu read mango campote cheesecake, I jumped at the opportunity. It was a piece of art. Thick and so creamy, with the mango adding an amazing citrus punch to my taste buds. It was epic good! I’ll forever dream of this meal. So if you’re ever in this area of the world, don’t miss out on Kokopelli Grill.More

Seafood-based restaurant. Well done and a bit original. Reservations by Internet should be much better managed, and the choice should be offered to book the mezzanine (with view): otherwise the first room can be noisy next to the kitchen.
