Had two evening meals at this restaurant. The prices were good for the food, but the service, is wanting. There was only the one person looking after the bar, and service the diners. This slowed the process of dining, and became disruptive, although the staff did their best. The menu was good and budget priced. A good steak meal cost... More

April 2016 We ordered the garlic bread, seafood chowder, beef goulash and the steak, eggs and fries. Garlic bread = 8/10 Seafood Chowder = 7/10 Beef goulash = 7/10 Steak, Eggs and Fries = 5/10 (eggs were perfect) Prices = very fair Undecided if we would go back again but overall was reasonable pub food. Comfortable setting was a bonus.

One of many places to dine/drink, walk around if your taste is abit more refined as there are plenty of cafes or winebars

Went here for tea one night as we could not get into our original choice for dinner. I ordered the seafood chowder which was only warm and I think contained more carrots than seafood. The bread roll however was nice. My husband ordered the steak which he asked to be medium rare, it was more like rare. Likely he is... More

Went looking for a place for dinner on 02/01/2015, every restaurant was busy and Coasters was by far the quietest - which was the first warning bell... - the food eventually arrived with an apology for the delay "cos we're getting slammed up against it..." maybe there was something going on which WASN'T in the restaurant because the restaurant was... Staying in the beachfront on business and wanting a bit more casual than the ocean view resturant, i spotted the menu and saw a chicken burger. Sounded good, but was greasy, overcooked and not even as good as something you would get from a fish and chip shop. Dont eat here - go across the road to Stumpers
