This is Cuban food done right! During of March 2017 trip to Cuba, we spent a night in Cienfuegos and were recommended Ache by a local. It's a bit out of the way, located in the backstreets behind the hospital, but what a find! You pass through the gates to this lovely courtyard that has a beautiful wall painting of... More

We read about this restaurant in our travel guide. This ranch style restaurant had outside and inside eating areas, a small bar and a separate seating area to enjoy a pre or post meal drink. We were met by very attentive staff, who were at pains to ensure we enjoyed our visit. The pina colada served in a pineapple was... More

This was probably one of the best places we ate while in Cuba! The food was delicious and the service was great! My husband ordered the Roast Pork which is all-you-can-eat. Just FYI, it is the only thing on the menu that is all-you-can-eat. He is still raving about the Roast Pork 2 weeks later! I had the Pork Steak... More

A romantic setting, the food was good (and interesting) and the service excellent. The house "special" (I guess it is on most evenings!) is freshly made pina colada and fresh fish is a must.

We were told about this restaurant from a local casa particular owner. The place was clean and the waiters were very attentive. Literally, if there was something no right or that you wanted corrected I think they would have brought a whole new meal. That was not needed at all. The decoration and plants in the restaurant made the whole... More

Couldn't fault this restaurant in Cienfuegos, Cuba. Even the toilets were nice and they hadn't put their prices up because they were recommended by Trip Advisor!! 10 CUC for as much as you can eat main course.

Paladar Aché was mentioned in our guide book, but we actually visited it on the recommendations of both our driver and our local guide. It was delightful in every respect - a beautiful, relaxed setting, excellent food and friendly, efficient service at a very reasonable price. Would definitely visit again if we were in Cienfuegos.

We chose this restaurant as it was recommended in lonely planet. The restaurant was big and busy but we had great and efficient service, staff spoke good English which was a bonus. The meals (roast pork and garlic prawns) were both amazing. The sides dishes were unlimited and as the pork was a 'special' we were able to have second... More
