We got fried catfish, and seafood platter. The catfish was the best I have probably ever had. The oysters and stuffed crab were not on par with other places. The boiled shrimp was a little too spicy for my taste. The restaurant was dated , like an old diner. The service was excellent. The catfish is definitely worth the stop.
We were wanting to have something delivered and were given their menu by our hotel. We ordered 2 ham and cheese sandwiches at a cost $7.75 each. That did not include chips or anything. The sandwiches arrived about 40 minutes later and we could not believe how skimpy they were. There was about 4 tissue paper thin pieces of ham... More

Jughead's brings back memories of when Jughead's was located 20 miles down the levee at Deerpark. Wonderful fried seafood and salads. Very relaxed atmosphere, great service.
This was a nice little food place--nothing fancy. The fried oyster salad was great. They used some kind of apricot in their whipped butter which was really good. Prices were reasonable.

My friend wanted a beer so they sent us down stairs. It is much better upstairs but I guess they don't want alcohol up there. My friend... More
The second we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and hellos. The service was wonderful from the waitress and the other staff members. Even my kids recognized how good the service was. The portion sizes are MUCH bigger than expected. Out of 6 entrées and 2 appetizers, there is nothing we disliked. The hush puppies were the absolute... More
Arrived in Natchez after being on the road for 9 hours. Since this was our first trip to Natchez we did not know where to go or not go. Saw Jughead's on the way to our hotel so we stopped . Did not notice the "B" health rating until after we were served. Can only guess what it stood for.... More
