Had a lovely lunch today with good service! Food is very consistent and fresh here which is hard to find in Marin County. Our valet, Eric was very helpful and considerate! Management called immediately about a pair of sunglasses found near our table after our departure indicating a high level of professionalism. The only down side (which was not the... More

Superbly prepared meals, spectacularly presented with knowledgeable, attentive service. We had calamari appetizer, scallops entree and stuffed eggplant entree. All were a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Valet parking quick, convenient, courteous.

5 of us had lunch in a booth in the bar on one of our cold, rainy days. Lunch was amazing...I had the shrimp Cobb salad and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and the salad amazing.

We went here for a birthday celebration and ALL six people loved their meals. How often can you say that?? Nice big tables and a cozy rustic cabin feel on a rainy day was awesome. Valet parking for those dates when you're wearing those cute heels. Otherwise, parking across the freeway entrance (not so glamorous in said heels).

Ordered a standard tuna appetizer with "asian salad" and for $17 received four translucently thin slices from a small cube of tuna fanned out over a bed of cold slaw with some soy sauce...really? is this your idea of a sick joke?? What a rip off place trading on its status as "historic" MV restaurant...

I love sitting at the bar and having their Oysters Bingo, it is such a warm and welcoming environment from Valet to Dessert.

I know I am going against the grain here, as this restaurant is a long standing favorite of locals. However, I find the food almost always too too heavy, with extra large portions, sauces and sides. The service is good. The parking is a bit strange as it is right on the on/off ramp of the highway, but it is... More

Love this place, particularly eating at the bar. That being said, the bar is often very, very crowded and the bartender service is can sometimes be lacking. The dining room is too noisy, especially the upstairs, for my taste. They have a phenomenal menu, but be prepared for a hefty bill, particularly if you add cocktails and/or wine. It still... More
