Another fantastic meal at the Turkish Ivy. You must try the starters of Home made chicken liver pate (to die for! ) or the onion rings ( home made - none of that frozen rubbish ). Or the garlic mushrooms - so good. Can't get...More

Excellent food, breakfast dinner and lunch. Staff are excellent , right in the centre of town so if you are a people watcher this is a great place to sit and relax

Nice place to eat. we visited for our breakfast and was a lovely meal. we saw old turkish friends here and they were very comforting.

Lovely food! We go there every year for a meal or two. The chiken with apricot and walnuts is to die for! Excellent service. Just opposite Azda at the bottom of the town.

Lovely host very friendly,funny and welcoming the mixed grill is to die for. Do yourself a favour and eat at the Turkish ivy.

Another great meal here, and good banter with the staff, also a great vantage point to people watch as you can see up and down the main street.

What is the name of the tomatoe based paste that you give to customers with the bread that you give out for free at the start of your meal?

Hi the bread is called Turkish lavash or balloon bread and the red paste is red pepper paste and a garlic paste hope that helps.
