So I’m looking on Trip Advisor for local places I haven’t reviewed as yet and I hit on this one. A few days later ‘big brother’ from Trip Advisor emails me to ask ‘where is the review?’ This was disturbing as there are places where the reviews are not that good and I don’t wish to waste my money eating... The location is tucked inside a business park off new design road. The salads, sandwiches and chili/soups have a very heavy hand of spices.. definitely over seasoned for my taste and would be potentially crippling if you're salicylate-sensitive. The flat iron steak salad has been my favorite along with the popular exploded potatoes. Occasionally I will stop in and get... More

Hello Razzek! Thanks for your feedback, and your business! I know our menu is overwhelming, but we have grown from 8 items to 58 items. Some of our newest items are the Spinach and Quinoa Salad, Baked Bay Wings, and The Sunnyvale Sandwich. Have you sampled the Skinny Green Pizza, BBQ, or Russian Hill? I hope you give the menu... Located in an industrial park off of route 15 in Frederick, MD, Frisco's is in a big concrete block structure. It looks quite unassuming when you enter, and you are presented with a very daunting menu above a cabana- like structure. I asked if it was kind of like a deli, where we ordered and sat, and this wonderful kid... More

aka Friscos is located in a industrial park area. Your patience will be rewarded if you keep going and find sandwich nirvana. The sandwiches are huge, the prices reasonable, the environment is fun and friendly but do not leave without trying their loaded baked potatoes. Calories and carbs yeah... but so worth it! You'll wonder how you've survived this long... More

Their exploded mashed potatoes are to die for. It comes as a side or an entire order. I got BBQ sandwich that comes with an exploded potatoes, and it is very good! Their sandwiches are huge. So glad I live nearby!

I'm from the West Coast and this place is as good as if it had been moved lock, stock, and barrel from the Bay Area to Frederick! The food is excellent, a real California taste with sprouts and avocado, my favorites, on some choices and whole lot of other options for everyone else. A wide selection of items with fresh... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat close to our hotel. Because of the great reviews we decided to try a.k. a. Friscos. When we entered we saw one the employees wearing an Amish hat, and we knew this was going to be a fun place. Great selection a unique sandwich combos which all sounded good. I had a roast... More

We've been going here regularly since it opened in Frederick in the 1990s. They have a good variety of sandwiches/ submarines, and you should try different ones to find your favorites. The juan or kong lobo potatoes are also a favorite.

Frisco's is a sandwich bar; no, a bar with sandwiches; no - a hangout with good beer and great sandwiches. Forget your run of the mill BLT - these folks have imaginative combos and cheerful counter clerks who will build your choice in a hurry. And unless you are a growing teenager, the serving is big enough to take half... More
