Dine here! We did on a sunny day and sat outside. It was our anniversary so I brought our own nice bottle, supplementing it with a tasting of three sparklers. Everything we ordered was excellent, delivered by courteous, friendly, professional staff. I'd love to say order this or order that, but I didn't eat everything. (I'll try doing that over... More

We called ahead for a nice lunch for several women and our older aunts. The person on the phone was very accommodating and promised we would have a table with a view. We had reservations for 11:30 and there were plenty of seats when we got there, it was such a lovely day that I asked if we could sit... More

We were wandering around enjoying Frederick and decided to stop in. It is not fine dining in the normal white tablecloth sense The Macs and Cheese was great,,, fritter or bowl (tried them both). The short was excellent again, not our first positive experience with the short rib. My swordfish was really nice. A strange pairing with the Ol' Smokey...... More

The food quality is great. The portions are generous and the service is out standing. The restaurant is on the high side but the service and the quality of the food is well worth it. The GM "John" walks around and is very attentive. Love this place and enjoy.

Tried this restaurant in downtown Frederick with colleagues from work. Enjoyed the saddle of lamb with green beans. Colleagues had sirloin steaks and mashed potatoes with butternut squash. Well-seasoned and well-cooked. I am not a wine drinker, but my friends are. They we very pleased with the wine and beer selections, and the wine flights were well-priced and generously poured.... This restaurant is located in historic Frederick, MD, near Creek side. Very advent gards. They had me at their appetizer, a cheese platter with London, French, and Portugese cheeses, apple butter jam with Focaccia bread strips served on a wooden board. The wine flights with small cardboard ID cards explaining the wine's background was awesome. Then, the mussels with coconut... More

What a neat little place to enjoy a lunch or dinner! When we arrived in downtown Frederick, two people recommended this place and we thank them. The waiter was very professional, comical and friendly. His recommended entrees were excellent. It was a very quiet and cozy place to eat.

After you get over the beautiful location alongside the canal, order the vegetable pave!! Absolutely delicious and unusual! The Wine Kitchen is slightly difficult to find because it's located facing the canal, but just park in the parking deck behind the building, walk in the back of the building and take the elevator up!

Located right on the canal in Frederick, we had a wonderful weekday lunch here. Not many customers, so the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. They had a brunch-type special that several of us tried --- lamb benedict and it was fantastic ! Nice beers available, terrific wine list, good menu selectiions. Wish I had a place like this in... I am on the fence about the Wine Kitchen. While certain aspects were really nice, others just weren't. We had dinner on a Sunday evening so the restaurant was very quiet. However, the service, while friendly, was very slow. Through the course of the evening, we had 3-4 different servers help us out so there was some confusion about if... More
