Our cycling tour guide found us this hidden gem. To say it is in the middle of nowhere is an understatement. It is the quaintest little farming village, sheep beside the restaurant, surrounded by the magnificent Pyrenees. It kind of reminded me of the pub the two actors walk into in An American Werewolf in London. If you go there... More

This small, family-run restaurant is a gem. I ate dinner at Can Borrell with a group of 16 people. We were at two tables, and everyone in our group loved the food and the ambiance of this charming spot. The service was lovely - both friendly and knowledgeable. I had the vegetable lasagna, and it was divine. One of my... More

a bit of a drive back a beautiful valley. The setting inside is very lodge like with mounted trophies and fireplace. Great service. The food is well prepared and quite good. The chef clearly has a passion for his labor.

When you see the chef owner dash outside to the terrace to pick a sprig of mint you know you are in for a treat. And indeed, the lamb was mesmerizing and the Catalan oxtail exquisite, all against the backdrop of the Pyrenees mountains. What a charming hotel in a charming village and a charming family who own it to... More

Located in Menanges with an spectacular environment, we have a good meal in a restored restaurant. Warm and relaxing atmosphere. I taste the chef recommendations, “Xai cuit a baixa temperature amb vi del Priorat” and it was a clear success. A perfect place to have meal with you family, couple or good friends, enjoy the meal and the conversation.

We just finished a three week dash through Spain and France. After the hectic pace of trying to "see it all" in Paris and Barcelona, we lucked into finding this place. Less than three hours driving from Barcelona, most of which was through fabulous Pyrenees views. The three of us were accommodated in a charming double room + loft in... More

We have been staying at this lovely small family run hotel in the foothils of the Spanish Pyrenees. It is our 6th Visit. The hotel is rustic and simple but very comfortable, good size beds and very comfy. The food is very inovative, the Iberico ham is supberb quality and highly recommended as a starter. Other dishes include wild boar,... More
