Great restaurant that offers home style preparation and cooking for all items. I have eaten both lunch and breakfast items here, and it is THE best place for breakfast in Concord. There are many choices, the coffee is strong and great, and the service is...friendly, prompt, and helpful. They now accept credit card payments. * Special note: the chicken and waffles far surpasses the best I've had in Arizona. To the chicken is much like chicken tenders with only a thin crust.More

This was a nice little restaurant for a quick filling lunch. We ran in here for lunch recently and were pleasantly surprised. The menu had a nice variety of choices. We each had a hot sandwich with fries. Both were good and portioned nicely. The...food was hot and came quickly. Service was not overly friendly, but was efficient.More

Next time we will find somewhere elseMore

One of best breakfasts we had on our 14 day road trip through New England. We had breakfast here both days in Concord it was that good. Large portions cooked to order served by smiling attentive staff and extra delicious to boot. Priced right as...well. Definitely a winning equation.More

We were staying at the Colonial Inn on Monument Square, and strangely enough...they do not have breakfast available. So.. we go to old downtown Concord seeking breakfast. It seems there are 3 breakfast place options here. We scoped them all out, and Helen's looked the...best of the 3. Once we were served and eating, we knew this was the right choice. The coffee here is really wonderful. Very Fresh - Great robust flavor. My wife ordered the Fancy -breakfast sandwich, scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato, cheddar cheese, avocado on a brioche bun. Great again! Since I am a Corned Beef Hash aficionado, when it is on the menu... I order it. It was not that special (simply from a can), but it was cooked just right, as were the home fries and the poached eggs. This is a great place, with cozy ambiance, friendly and efficient servers and that out of this world coffee.More

We stopped here for lunch yesterday. This is a typical diner in downtown Concord. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean. I was craving pancakes so I got the blueberry pancakes. The pancakes came in a stack of four and they were the largest...pancakes I have ever had. There were fresh blueberries in the pancakes and quality maple syrup. My wife ordered the BLT and the sandwich was huge. Overall a good place to stop for some good food.More

Average at best. Nice setting in downtown Concord but with only 6 or 7 tables available inside the two ladies had a hard time keeping up. The wait was extremely long just to order, then another wait for coffee and finally the food which was...good but nothing special.More

This is the best vintage restaurant. It reminds us of the places that were everywhere when we were growing up and out on the town with our parents for the day. We had wonderful breakfasts with delicious eggs and potatoes. The staff are super friendly...and work very hard. The social distancing and masks were being worn. Tables were being well cleaned between guests.More

Ive been going to Helen's for years. Family owned, friendly service, comfortable seating, great food with some creative dishes along with the usual cafe comfort fare. Never had a bad meal at Helen's . Everybody seems to know everybody there. How do you beat that?

This was our first time eating at Helen’s. The restaurant is not that large. There are many choices on their menu. It was hard to make a decision. We both had different kinds of entree salads. The veggies were fresh and delicious. The dessert were...even better. You have choices of pie, cake and Brigham ice cream. The best part of our time at Helen’s was the employees. As soon as you walk through the door, they great you. They were friendly and efficient. We will return.More
