This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Salobrena. The service is perfect, the lobster with rice was excellent and very tasty, the terrace outside has a direct view on the seaside. I can recommend this restaurant.

We ate there in August - had an awful meal. Oxtail was all bone- no meat we also had the lobster/ rice - which was bitter and a tiny piece of lobster meat . Expensive - told manager that it was bitter- he said everyone else likes it and walked off. Would not go back - best restaurant is el... More

We were a bit early arriving for dinner...830 pm, which is true in Spain. We were also early in the season so it was quiet. But we didn't mind. This is a fish restaurant which makes sense as it is on the sea. If you want a steak go elsewhere. We had been advised to order the anchovies. These aren't... More

Easy to find and park opposite the beach, we ate on the outside terrace.Within half an hour the terrace was full, and popular with the Spanish locals. Three of us ordered cod, red mullet and monkfish from the a la carte menu and all three meals were excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. At €60 for the meal and drinks... More

Now this is where you should go! Had the best swordfish ever here. A littel bit more expensive, but exclusive taste experience. Great quality, great service.

Had a great meal at El Verdejo. Food was plentiful, freshly cooked and very tasty. They bought us a big plate of aubergine and honey, a local speciality, just wish we known they were going to do that because we would not have ordered a sharing platter to start. Had the rice and seafood in a sweet sauce, really delicious.... More

Food in our opinion was average . Expensive for a restaurant which had few customers in evidence! Not all fish is available , wine and drinks in general overpriced ! Service was average , could find better in this area. Generally disappointing .

Some of the best seafood we have had in any restaurant. Simple but fresh. Good wine choices and good service. You will need to book if you want to sit outside. Try the Motril Gumba (prawns) if available. We also had baby lobsters (cigalas) which were very tender.

Thank Tracey G
