We were looking for a restaurant in Midtown, and picked Ecco. It is located on a quiet tree-lined street between two busy arteries of Atlanta. We sat on the patio, which was delightful. The food was really good, everything we ordered: Beet salad, lamb chops, lamb flatbread, and a terrific grilled cauliflower. Even the desert was special, a walnut cake/mousse.... More

A 38th anniversary choice! We'd been here years ago with fond memories. Great waiter, Chris, made our experience fun. But the lack of entree choices (only four) was disappointing. Instead there were lots of appetizers, flatbread pizza choices, and small plates. It felt like a happy hour place. We were seated in a cozy corner curved booth (romantic), but the... More

My husband and I really enjoyed dessert and wine. The bartender was superb and had a great suggestion to please my husband and I both. We had the strudel for dessert and it was great. Ambiance is a bit dark but romantic.

We made a return visit to Ecco this trip to Atlanta as we loved it the first time. We have a tradition of Sunday steak nights and remembered how good the steak was our first visit. This visit was even better! Our waiter, Chris, assisted with an amazing wine recommendation and food selections. We started with grilled Octopus. I've never... More

Nice atmosphere. Accommodated my request to make one of the flatbreads into a vegetarian option, which was still very good. Waiter was very courteous. Tried the olive oil salted ice cream, interesting, but good!

Was at a meeting for the weekend in Midtown, and Ecco was a short walk away. Loved it. Sat at the bar and the service from the 2 very knowledgeable bartenders couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Very comfortable atmosphere and the bartenders worked in tandem to make sure I was well taken care of. Had the house specialty... More

We had dinner without reservations for a party of four after 9 pm and were treated well. We had appetizers and wine prior to dinner sitting outside then had pizza, spaghetti, and a nice lamb rib dish. Everyone enjoyed the food. A nice go-to place that is quite enough to carry on conversation.

Good way to justfy those extra burpees. Fried goat cheese, spare ribs, frareek with calamari (sp). Lamb flatebread pizza, vegetarian pizza, were all very good. Great server with a sense of humor. Patio dining is perfect, but smallish. Decor inside was nice, and not at wait at 6:45.

Went here for business dinner and was not disappointed. The drinks were good, with a couple nice options like the Alexander Hamilton. Appetizers were small, but quite good. Particularly the goat cheese and peppers. We split several items as a table of 5. Prices were ok. A bit on higher side for portions, but certainly high quality and well prepared.... More

Ecco appears on a lot of "favorites" lists in Atlanta. We enjoyed our food and wine (Brett did a nice job with suggestions). Goat cheese balls, salad, beef/steak, and dessert. Prices are a bit steep for the quality and portions. Best part was overall ambiance.
