The food is southern and very good. We basically ordered a bunch of plates for the table then shared so everyone got a little taste. The side salads are enough for a meal! Loved each one, especially the chicken salad. Service was slow and sloppy....More

While in Atlanta I was recommended to eat at Aunt Pitty Pat's. It's welcoming, cozy and has a lot of southern charm. I got the fried chicken and it was some good fried chicken! All meals come with the salad bar which include traditional salad...More

We heard this was a 'must do', so we did. Cute place. Plenty of tables. Limited menu (with no substitutions). Salad bar included, and ok, with some things that were unusual for us, such as the pickled watermelon rind. There were three of us -...More

When you walk in, it looks like an old Southern home. Lots of stairs and there was a man playing the piano. Rocking chairs were inside on the "porch" and the hostess was very friendly. Has a salad bar with 12 various salads that goes...More

I came with a friend with mobility issues. This place is full of stairs, but we found out after we ate that there is a ramp. Wish we had known going in, but it was very helpful leaving. The fried chicken was yummy. The salad...More

Great service and great food. The porch was a nice addition. The entire process was smooth and Alyssa was awesome to work with!

A great dinner with an old southern home feeling. A relaxed atmosphere and very good service. The server spent plenty of time explaining the history of the restaurant as well as the preparations.

Being vegetarian, I cannot personally comment on the majority of the food, but the 3 fried green tomatoes I had from the appetizer menu were tiny, oily and lukewarm when they came to the table. My friends had the crab cakes and gumbo, said the...More

Southern Homestyle fare. There is a salad sideboard and a few appetizers for vegetarians, and a whole lot of Southern comfort food. Tasty but expensive. The service and atmosphere, however, are superb!

A friend and I ate here on a Thursday. It was not crowded at all, but would guess it can be pretty busy on a weekend. We were seated right away. We both ordered the daily special which was 3 pieces od fried chicken, boiled...More

Description
Downtown Atlanta's Oldest Southern Dining restaurant since 1967. We are a "Gone With the Wind" themed restaurant, a place where the characters presence are felt from the menu to the overall decor to the memorabilia on the walls. We have created a menu of Southern classics that have been enjoyed by groups large and small from the moment we opened our doors. Dishes such as, Aunt Pittypat's Fried Chicken, 12 Oaks BBQ Ribs, Georgia Catfish, just to name a few. Our menu also includes delicious appetizers and tempting desserts made fresh in our bakery daily. We have a full bar, plus draft beer by local breweries and a Specialty Drink menu to wet your whistle. So come on by and let us show you our Southern Hospitality!
