Thought the food was Mediocre at best. I can think of 20 other restaurants better. The only positive is the sauces were great. My husband very much enjoyed his mussels, his halibut was OK. my lamb meatballs were weird and my veal parmesan was tough....More

This was our first time visiting Babette's, and it was a wonderful meal and the atmosphere was wonderful. We went for my wife's birthday and found the service and the food to be the best.

Last night must have been the 100th time I've dined at Babette's, or very close to it. And it was every bit as perfect as the time my wife and I discovered it, years ago. The food was sublime. The service, as always, impeccable. The...More

Yes, this restaurant is a throwback but that's a good thing. The decor is charming, reminiscent of the dining area in a lovely old french country house. The four different entres at my table, swordfish, lamb, duck and veal picatta, were all excellent and the...More

Order the classic dishes and not the flash such as the strawberry mussels. The ambiance and service are worth a visit.

This restaurant is never a disappointment. The food is excellent, service professional and consistent, the atmosphere relaxed but sophisticated. Lamb chops, veal piccata, filet, all superior.

"The secret to beautiful food is using the ingredients in their most natural form." At Chef/Owner Marla Adams'Atlanta Restaurant, and with Chef Justin Kurtz now at the helm, life imitates art in a remodeled 1916 bungalow, nestled between the historic Inman Park and Poncey-Highland neighborhoods. You'll feel like a foreign film star as Babette's Cafe brilliantly brings Isak Dinesen's story of food, grace and community to vivid and delicious life in a rustic, European setting. For twenty-four years, Babette's Cafe has offered the flavor of stepping into a restaurant that is tucked into the French Countryside, making diners forget that they are just minutes away from downtown Atlanta.
